2005 Match-up Contest (Round 2) - RESULTS pg20

next round here I come. It's a shame that I got through like that though. My track (as I NOW see it) didn't really fit the criteria, so it wouldn't have been hard to beat it I guess.

Now that the woodies are gone low lats will be no problem anymore. thank god...

PS: cjd, this other track I posted would have been better? Tyler explained to me what we were supposed to do after I submitted my track and that's what I came up with... just wondering.

Yeah, Butterbrot was a bit more CCI-ish it was a bit lower technically, a 9, but it would have scored at least a point or two higher in adrenaline and originality. Over an 8 for sure. I'll give you a contest rating on Butterbrot as soon as I'm done moving out of my dorm room tomorrow, and a non-contest rating on Schinkenklopfer if you need a 5th rating over on Coastersims.

I'm shocked about them results. Well done MF2001, your ride was great, it was extremely close. Well done to everyone who has got through and i hope to see the losers in another contest sometime. It might be a rocket for Rita Queen of Speed...but hopefully it isn't because I've had enough of those. Maybe it'll be a SheiKra type coaster, that would be fun sense there hasn't been a lot of those around on NoLimits. (And is it just me, or does Sheikra actually have a splash zone?)

I think that an Intamin Impulse would be cool (for round 3). There are hardly any, and this would make the greater designers put out a rare coaster type.

The last group is very close - I honestly can't decide. After the next coaster type for the next round is announced I may be able to make a better judgement.

yeah, I said after posting this template that each coaster in this contest is based off of a coaster that is opening for the 2005 coaster season.

I'm definitely hoping for a rocket this round, considering I have so many layout ideas and elements backed up in the recesses of my mind from constructing so many scrapped Intamin tracks.
