Yeah SFMM homie, that Joe guy is only decent. I don't think he sucks like some people here, but he's not that great, at all.

I've never been as great a fan of nightride's work as other people... these CCI's were just too jerky to me, even if it's years ago. And I agree with the unrealistic pacing. But he in fact WAS a legend back in the great old coasters2k days.

Also, my opinion about him completely changed when I rode some of his latest work: Lightning, a harry traver inspired woodie twister. I saw this one's not on his webpage so here's the coasters2k link:

http://www.coasters2k.com/games/view.php?trackid=2496

If you've got some time... it's definitely worth downloading.

Oh sorry I forgot about that one... So can I take John Pierce's Rattler with its world-famous 166 foot drop that was now reprofiled? Will that work with the rules? [lol]
J/K, I know this is not the same. But I think the rides should be in our parks as they stand today... there are more coasters that have lost their former glory due to bad aging, and it could cause discussions to say they have been restored to be good as new. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the comment though, like other people said, I like to hear peoples' opinions of rides, especially ones I haven't been on.

hehe. I was sure you had some great mechanics. Just wanted to warn you so you wouldn't be diseapointed when it arrived at your park[;)]

Don't be upset Pad. Yes, I took Holiday World's awesome maintenence staff, but as far as I know, nobody took Six Flags Great Adventure's staff... those guys do a great job on Rolling Thunder! You can have them if you want ;)

IMO the rides in your park are accepted as running in the same condition as they run presently at their current location.

Yeah lets make a round 13 where everybody can pick the staff of a specific park [:p]

I was just joking about the whole maintenence and retracking thing...I'm really not worried about it though. Quote from Rob Alvey (themeparkreview.com) from June 21, 2005 about Thundercoaster and it's POV video:

"This should give you an idea of how awesome this ride is...airtime on EVERY hill, and for being a Vekoma ride, overall we were very impressed!"

doesn't really matter to me, removing/replace contestants just causes confustion, and when the inactive contestant has it's turn, the active ones have a day off watching this tread

You don't have to be here 24/7. You can be here .0694% of your day (one minute) and still be up to date. Time isn't an issue, we give you 24 hours.

EDIT: I'll take Gwazi at Busch Gardens Tampa. The ride may not be air-filled but the dueling sensation is awesome.

I sent Jim a PM this morning at 6;39 AM mountain time. I asked him if he would be willing to trade places with me this round and if that couldn't happen then I would like Titan at Space World in Japan.

Yes, I believe they are available because they have been SBNO for less than a year.
