^^Yah, I think that a lot of people are just in the contest to see how well they can build and to go up against other designers head to head.

It dont bother me... it is fun to build and the money is just an extra... PS I am changing my avatar if i have the points...

Well even though I am not going to win i wouldn't be bothered about the $50 anyway. It was a nice gesture though. Donating it back to the site was a great idea.

I'm frustrated because I would have liked to compete for the $50, however with that said, the prize was both a privelage and a bonus, not a right or necessity, and I understand if you can't afford it now because of the car problems. It happens. You're putting a lot of time in to run this competition so I forgive you lol.

Lol.. was there a money reward? Well I don't really care.. This contest is just fun for me!

Im partially in college and trying to remove debt - who says I dont need it?

Not why I entered anyways and if you read my post a few pages back if I even make it past the 2nd round its a miracle. My girl will be in town from school on break and it coincides directly with this 2nd week.

Why a cash reward? I would rather prefer a V.I.P status. [:)]

A had to go through a lot of crap yesterday; with my car breaking down, having to pay another $2000 in taxes to the government, filling out some paperwork for Cedar Point, and cashing out my entire bank account and poker bankroll in order to pay for all of that crap. Needless to say, I only got 2 ratings done all day, and did not have the time to do the proper research for making the Round 2 template. Therefore,

THE START OF ROUND 2 IS POSTPONED one day, UNTIL MONDAY, MARCH 20.
(the rest of the contest is still the same, though. You will still have 1.5 weeks to build, and every other round will still start on the appropriate Sunday.)

Will we find out who has qualified for the first head to head round before the round starts, or right as it starts?

If they are done before midnight tommorrow night, yes. I'm posting them as soon as I finish them.

Just a quick update on the ratings...

They're half done.

Unfortunately, there are now 6 disqualifications. I'm amazed at how many tracks slipped up. I hope this trend doesn't continue, because it really hurt to have to DQ 2 of those tracks, which were really great coasters. I beg everyone, please double-check your coasters next time. I'm tired of DQ'ing stuff.
