Silverstar really felt like it was 45* but I guess my lift is now around 35 and 40...

I actually think this Goliath at SFOG is using a 45* lift.

Wingover, im thinking the same. Im going to have to delete my backs ection, do a helix, and just get back. Its a huge template.

ANSWER ABOUT METRIC QUESTION:

20 feet equals 6 meters.

ANSWER ABOUT REGISTRATION:

No more contestants may enter. I'm sorry about the 3 of you that haven't joined, but the registration topic has been posted for the last week. ianko66, you're not in the contest. You never answered my question about whether you still wanted to be in, and you are therefore not registered. (and obviously you never even read the responding posts telling you that RCT2 IS NOT ALLOWED!) Please read the posts in the topic next time.

ah one more question cjd, when we upload, we say "Coaster Name (Round 1)" like how it was last year?

Track completed! [:D] I'm quite proud of what I've done. 10 moments of ejector airtime, a double-up, and 4 high-speed turns. It just needs some more tweaking, and I should be ready to start the supports.

Can you put a little bit of normal track in the station area?

You misunderstood... the "x" is not just for the station. Anything can go in there. I just said that the station had to be in that area. that doesn't mean that nothing else can go there. Anything can be put inside the "x", as long as the station is there as well.

(answer added to the contest rules)
YES! When you upload, be sure to include a (Round 1) tag in the name, and post a link to the track in this topic.

Im dont now too. Its probaly my best coaster technically. I just have to go back and fix one airtime hill. And same Wingover, I have 9 moments of ejector air. The 10th is just a little floater to the final brakes. Then Ahg, and then hell begins with supports!

Well, I'm completely done now with the track. I can't wait to start on the supports, They're so much fun for this type of coaster. I'll be putting loads of effort into them, and the scenery. I might even add a 3ds Ultrasonic in the middle of the template, like Goliath has Georgia Scorcher in the middle.

Let's see, the second hill is done, third hill is started, I'm finally using my pump solution, and I'm calling it Mjolnir.

this contest is going to have the record for most tracks completed in a week. lol. you guys are hurrying this thing, take your time, and make everything to the best of your ability. i am up to the mcbr, but i am by no means rushing this, ive already invested 7 hours of work into it, and im not even half done with the track. alot of you guys are going to say, "this is my bestest track ever it took 4 ever i spent half a day on it omg its da bomb".

moral of the story, take your time people. [:p]

I did a quick rough draft of a standard B&M hyper coaster, then trashed the whole thing, but I some pre-lift track work.

I only have a drop and an airtime hill! IMO you are very far already! [:P] It normally takes me a while to get my layouts done, i plan them out in my head, but things change as i go along, and new changes spark new ideas and i always end up with a pretty different ride to how i wanted it to be. Its that changing plans that means my rides take a while to get right! Does anyone else here end up with like 10 versions of the same type of element, each only a little different, trying each and every variable? [:P] Or is that just me? [lol]

It's not that we are rushing, it's just that many of the people who say they've got so far are elementary/AHG users, and tracks come together relativly quickly like that. I haven't rushed mine, I doubt that it would be much better it I had taken a month to build it.

Hmm, my answer still hasn't been answered, so I'm asking again.
Are we allowed to use 3ds of the park pack? And as I said, I don't want any credits for sthem or something, I just want to use them for making my coaster look a bit nicer.

I've started already, it's coming out OK, I think. My first turnaround is good though.
