I have no track work done as yet, but tomorrow I will be stuck in VT doing nothing. Come Sunday I should have a completed layout. Expect an update Sunday night.

i'm thinking of a starwars theme...

My track is done too, I'm almost done with supports, I might make some support theming...

As of now my coaster has 4 inversions and is actually a really fun ride. I'm trying to make the supports look really good, but NL sorta makes them look crappy because the NL team are anti-welding activists...

I also just finished an imaginary 4-D coaster...

Just pull the free nodes back a little bit so the support fully connects.

As for me, Im off the VT now. I kinda hinted that I would have all day tomorrow, as my laptop has all my NL goodies.

I got my xbox 360 on Wednesday, so I'll prolly play with my uncle. Hopefully I will get the track done though!

I wasn't that happy with the first layout, so I edited it a bit, taking out my original element because basically, it sucked, and i'm putting in a new one. I won't be back till tommorrow night to work on it though, or maybe even Sunday night, but I haven't got much work to do, just add my original element and but the brakes in, and finish smoothing it, which is almost done, then I have supports, and if time permits I will ATTEMPT, they key word here, to build a custom station, but due to time restrictions, I doubt it. Anyways, heres a pic:

Although it looks it, there are no tunnel intrusions.

Why are you guys even bothering to do it? I know you say fun but I would hate that so much.

Does the station have to be totally contained in the area marked "x"? In other words can the station building go outside of the area?

Hmm...

The station's track must be contained within the area marked with an "X" (just the track this time... the building can go out.)

...

i was wonderig if we could modify the terrain outside the template, so that inside the template the hillside will be preserved but outside some large hills?

The node you placed by hand is not perfect. How can you afford to do that?

^^ I was frustrated when moving by .05 intervals wouldn't give me the degree I needed.

Is it really that hard to make a smooth transistion with hands?

Question? Can our rides be on 30 miles per hour? Or does it critical for it to be OVER?

I have a portion where it travels at 30 mph for a second or so.

Mine goes 50kph for a few seconds... And mine also stays in the boundries by Millimeters!!! If you Zoom as close as possible it is totally in...

I made a poster type image... look at my NLDC page for it... Looks good/bad?

I have my launch and first two turns done. Im going to move into a turnaround and then hit my inversions going back across the template. There just going to be bam, bam, bam, Kinda like twists in a straw. Somehow I will make then threaded. I'll work on all that later tonight, and who knows, I may finish just the track.

9:30 P.M. Edit ----> I have completed my layout. It consists of both ground hugging and airborn turns, then throws you into the rides custom elements called Straw Twists and then finishes up. Unfortunetly I have to go back about halfway and redo the entire second half because of one g I forgot to check. The Straw Twists need a little work as well, so It should be worth it. Hopefully I can finish by 12, or just do the rest in the morning before we leave.
