Hasnt the gimmick of pre-lift rolls worn off yet? lol.

I refuse to use it because of that. Its so....cheesy.

BTW - Just started mine today. I hope to get trackwork done by Friday when I leave for Holiday World and then use the following week to do some nifty 3ds.

I dont think this template is that hard at all. Suits my style. [:D]

^If you ever thought that a template was really hard, then I'd know that I've gone too far. [;)]

Probably. Like a few of the CS Tightfits which were INSANE. I think only one person completed it with a good track and that was none other than...Cactus.

That was the first. The second he completed but altered the track to suit a more polished finish but it would have crushed mine. Tight Fits suck.

I did run into one little glitch but was fixed with another quick fix. Tis part of the game.

Real, I think I know which track your talking about, N20?That was pretty freaking sweet.

No matter how hard you try, a tight fit contest can never be fun.

^Agreed. The logistics of placing everything perfectly around the track can drive people nuts. I've seen some of the tightfit templates, and I can sure say that I wouldn't want to be a person in that contest.

K.. I began working on this one yesterday.. And I only have 2 inversions yet..
As it's hard to have a technical perfect coaster in such a template, I'll focus on originalty and adrenaline, but still do my best for the technical part, though!

Your immelman is a Dive loop BTW ;)

Immelmans enter from the half loop first while Dive loops enter from the cork/rotating section first :P

Nope. I went a different way. Whew. :P

I've now got the basic trackwork done, I just need to redo some of the turns near the end. The G's turned out too high due to the increase in speed and decrease in radii the AHG gives to inverts. I'm gonna go with the name GunMetal, and have the supports a similar colour of blue-grey as I've got on the trains, only darker. I'll hopefully have finished all the trackwork by either today or tomorrow.

Your ride looks very lackluster there Wing-Over. I hope I'm wrong.

Well, it has about 7 moments of about 4.7g's or more, and quite a few more points with over 4g's. I'll admit the diveloop's quite slow, and that's one of the things I've got to fix. (I overcompensated for the AHG changes).

No, N20 was just a normal ol' coaster that was completely frickin' awesome. It wasn't from the "Hard Path to Follow" contest.

The coaster that Real was talking about is called "Dementia". It's one of the most insanely twisted coasters ever...

Nope. You are wrong. Dementia was for Hard Path to Follow but N2O actually was an entry for the Tight Fit contest that I won.

Cactus then, after not finishing the deadline, decided that since alot of the layout was so good that he would just scrap the barriers and turn the last 25% into its own ride.

Thats what I was talking about.

Wow, I never knew N20 was a contest coaster... it seemed too spread out to be one...

He did a wonderful job. As I said, part of it would not fit in the original template but I think up till just after the MCB was all Template.

BTW, Im loving this template. Coming up with a very, very cool ride.

I fixed the bugs in the track, it's more or less done now apart from the final brake runs. I've made a start on the supports & Track connectors, and I'm about half way done with them. I'm gonna try and get them all done by this weekend, so I've got plenty of time to work on scenery & tunnels.

I know you said that we're not allowed to move the template in any way, but hear me out. Can we move the just purple height limitations north, as long as we don't modify the height of it? And the same with the islands, can they be moved vertically, as long as the height of the purple lines stays the same height? Since none of these modifications change the effect of the template in the only view tey are going to be considered in, are they allowed?

yes, you can move it laterally. I just assumed that nobody would need to, since it doesn't change anything. The rule is "if it does not modify the build scenario in ANY way, you can move it." Just remember to be careful, because anything that alters the build scenario means that you're no longer building on the same template as everyone else, and it's not fair.

I've got most of mine done now, just need to do some finishing touches like trees and buolders around the outsides of the template. I'll probably send a backup version to cjd soon, and upload the final later on.

Well, sadly it looks like I have to bust alot of brackets up.

First was the fact that 3 days before the Voyage trip I started coming down with a really, really bad cold. I took a day off work the Thursday before which was my first in a very, very long time (about a year). I made it through that weekend alright but once I got home the cold picked up speed for its final hoorah.

I have spent the last 5 days living on Robitussin and Nyquil along with waking up, going to work and then coming home and laying around. The computer made my head hurt and really so did anything. Im only now just barely getting over it and I dont have even a complete circuit to send to CJD. I will send what I have which is barely 1/3 of a ride but hey, its something.

I do wish I could have made it to that final round because I know it would have fit me as well as this round did.

I hate being deathly ill. It sucks.
