okay, so this year will *probably* see, a tall woodie (voyage), a b&M hyper (goliath), rocket (like 6 opening this year), and, invert? this sounds like it will be better than last year's contest....if your "scenarios" are fun.

for next years theme, how about height restrictions while maintanging a certain speed, IE, 60 mph, no more than 100 feet tall, most inversions, IE, 10, tight fit woodie, and a terraformed invert? i dunno, doing what you do is hard. lol. i would just do this year's theme every year, seems easier than trying to create some theme.

Man, with this field, I'd be honored to make it to the first round. Some of the best designers in history are joining, this is gonna be a dog-fight to the very end.

I just want to get into the woodie round. I love making woodies. Other coasters im not so good at, like hypers! ARGH! Or B&M inverts! I just cant make graceful rides. [lol]

Jimmy im sure you can get past the first round. Im hoping to get to round 2 (if i manage to make an entry, i have a huge work load at the moment) so im almost sure you will too. Good luck guys. [:)]

There will actually be a side contest to predict the outcome of the brackets once Round 1 is over... kind of like the NCAA tournament...

Ragan, have you seen some competitors?

Real, Iron man, Dcs! [:O] Then theres some great new faces aswell who havent taken part before, like Wingover, and thorazine.[:)] Theres some tough competition this year, definately.

First off, I already answered. Second, don't double post. Not a good way to get started off on a site. Try editing your post next time!

^Half? That's nothing... this year, 75% of the field is going to be knocked out in the qualifiers. We might have to go to a 5-round contest for next year if the entry pool gets bigger than this year's.

By the way, a quick heads-up... The template for Round 1 will be posted in approximately 9 hours, so look sharp and get ready to build for your lives!

^Yep. at midnight, it will officially be Sunday. Therefore, it will be time for the contest to start.

ianko66, do you still want to join? (even though you would have to use No Limits...)
