Holy Crap, I made the same mistake...this really sucks. I was far into supporting as well....maybe by some miracle I can mirror it.

I forgot that AHG tightens the top of hills and all that so now I have like -2 G's coming off my lift hill, and one element following that. Damn.

Yay problem fixed! Now I just have to remake the last block, which will be 10x as awesome.

Edit: Added some airtime and now my length is 4202 Feet. Also added a block :).

Well, after a ton of failed attempts, I've finally got a layout and a theme that should work. Now the only question is whether I can make a coaster from start to finish in only 8 days. I might be skimping on the supports a bit, but at least the layout should be good. I'm throwing in a lot of original elements.

Is the 6 m rule off the ground or the top of the path?

Edit: Also, could anyone tell me the heartline value for x-cars?

^Yes, as long as they follow the rules that concern 'other forms of transportation'.
Also, LIMS tend to deactivate when pressing E-stop, and crashing the coaster.

They don't deactivate during an e-stop when you use a brake segment and turn blockbrake off... [;)] That was a tiny mistake on my previous entry...

Ok, got about three quarters of my layout done now. It's been pretty hard work to get this far into it!

^Yeah, I've been really busy too. It's going to be a push to get supports done, but I have faith I can with it being spring break.

Hyyyper, what are your views on tunnel to tunnel conflict for tunneltestng on the same block? Is it ok?

^Generally speaking it is OK, there might be some exceptional cases where it wouldn't, but if it's just an ordinary tunnel-to-tunnel on an ordinary block, i'd say it's allowed.

Theres no rule about length right?

Also, I just wanted to clear 2 things up with you.
#1 - I read what you said in the rules, but i just wanted to make sure, is this considered an inversion?
Image

#2 - I already asked, but kinda worded my question bad so I'll ask again, this isnt an inversion, right?

Update #2

#1 Assuming that is your lift hill, it will not be counted an inversion.
#2 Not an inversion

Update #2 Why are you taking pictures of puddles?

I'd doubt I will get something ready for the tournament. I've had to work a lot the last few weeks and the inspiration was pretty low. Trackwork isn't even near 25% done.

Kevin, I wish you good luck in the next round. I'd hoped to be some bigger competition for you but work kinda took it away.

Oh well, better luck next year! [:)]

Yes, they can even go over 197 ft if you like.

I'm dropping out too. I got a late start, then couldn't come up with anything decent, and once I had something remotely decent, I got swamped by choir concerts and midterm school work. I have maybe 30% of the trackwork done, no supports, and still have a speech to prepare for tomorrow. Basically, I don't think there's any possible way that I can get something worthwhile done by the deadline without killing myself, so I'm just going to save myself the agony and drop out. Enjoy your free pass to Round 3, yoshifreak.
