Ah, so the next round isn't starting until May...

I was planning on dropping out before then, so we'll see how things work out.

So when is round 3? I'm confused. It's not like there were that many coasters to rate...

^When the ratings are done. And although there weren't that many coasters, I just can't find a decent stretch of time to do one right now. I hope Uni will get a little less hectic otherwise I suppose Z00Z3R could do the ratings.

I think that would really wrong to do. Just do the ratings whenever you can...even if it is 30 mins or an hour at a time.

When you take on something as big as judging the tournament, its your responsibility man.

school/work comes way before judging a contest w/o a prize.

you get what you pay for

The results are in. I'm once again sorry for the delay, but school and work are more important than coasters, unfortunately. Because I couldn't do all the ratings front-to-back in one stretch, judging was really hard, also when you take into consideration that some of you have nearly perfect smoothness. Anyways, I did my best and maxamaxam came up 5th, and the other four will battle each other in the final round, which will be posted ASAP.
The ratings for the three members that were DQ will follow whenever they are done, but they will follow.

Ckidd ????????? The Leprachaun
Tech: The shaping was really bad, there were a lot of pumps and jerks. The supports were OK, nothing extraordinary, but they held up the track. The track had support hits, E-stop failed and eventually crashed.
Adren: Very fast track, from beginning till end it just keeps going. The G?????????s are too high on the first drop, both vertical and lateral. There was only airtime on the 1st mcbr.
Orig: The first drop is kind weird, while it should be an element to give you a boost of adrenaline. The rest of the ride is pretty sweet, lots of interaction with the track itself and path below. The helix after the mcbr is very cool.
4 ????????? 6 ????????? 7
5.67

Jakizle ????????? Headliner
Tech: Very smooth track, pure glass. Supports are very good and realistic.
Adren: Ride starts out great, the S-turn is kick-ass. Yet the ending isn't really exciting. It feels as if it was put there just to fill up the ride. G-forces are very good. Powerful dips, great airtime and minimum laterals.
Orig: First half of the layout is cool, but the 2nd half doesn't provide much thrill. But the elements in the first half, like the S-turn and rolling dive, are super.
8.4 ????????? 6.5 ????????? 7
7.30

ianko66 ????????? Freerunning
Tech: The track is pretty smooth. The supports are good, but all the different styles make it chaotic, ugly and unrealistic. Worth to mention is that the boxtrack turned out pretty good.
Adren: The pacing is incredible all the way, even more impressive for such a long ride. Forces are super, very little lats, but powerful positives and plenty of airtime.
Orig: I really liked the layout, it all fits neatly. The drop out of the 1st mcbr is super. But if the first drop was all the way down and going alongside the building, it would?????????ve been even more kick-ass.
7.6 ????????? 8.5 ????????? 8
8.03

Kevin Brennan ????????? Death Trap
Tech: Very smooth track. The supports that are custom are very good, but too bad the other half are prefabs. E-stop test failed.
Adren: Great pacing, the ride never loses speed. The airtime is super, the dips powerful and very little laterals. The tight trackwork kept the blood rushing.
Orig: The layout is very tight, and has much interaction. The first drop is awesome, the loop and diving roll are also kick-ass.
7.1 ????????? 8 ????????? 8
7.70

maxamaxam ????????? Dived
Tech: Track is far from smooth, a lot of small pumps add up to a very bumpy ride. The supports are pretty realistic and well build, except for the unrealistic lift-hill.
Adren: The starts great, but after a few seconds the ride only consists of little else but Stengel-dives and it gets really boring. The laterals and verticals G?????????s were too high, and there was very little airtime.
Orig: Apart from the layout being boring, the ride all takes place high up on the buildings where there is very little interaction possible with the peeps on the paths. The drop is cool (yet pumpy) but the rest of the ride are mainly Stengel-dives.
6.8 ????????? 4 ????????? 4
4.93

I am utterly discouraged that tracksix didn't make it because of that. I enjoyed his greatest! But other than that I feel like this round did turn out good. I'm glad Ian made it =P haha.

Why is that? It's not like I was the one placing those footers. Like every other round, there were clear rules and if somebody is to sloppy to run a check on them before uploading, you might end up DQ'd, regardless of how good the track is.

^You just think by Round 3 the judging becomes a little more tightly oriented around how good the track actually is. I guess he did break a rule...I'm just disappointed that such a little thing can all together remove you from the running [xx(]

You have to draw a line somewhere. I too thought it was a great shame, but I guess that's what you get for not paying attention.
