"Maximum speed on lift, brake, transport and
station sections is 20 kph (12 mph)"

What if we are setting up trims on hills? To help with Newton friction?

I think this rule is for friction wheels or any other transport system on the brake, transport, station and lift section.

i got a basic Geeuhvuhnohluh out and back littel layout, not as Geeuhvuhnohluh based as I had intended for. The length limit set me back the most, i had to trim a double helix from the ride and a second Shambhala twist to get the length right.

This only applies to the speed of your propulsion system on those blocks (LIMs, chain or tires). The speed of the train going through the block is not limited.

You maybe should reformulate the rule because I admit it's very confusing. [B)]

Not to be rude but how is that rule confusing? In almost every contest that transport/brake/chain speed rule is written in the same format all the time. Its not that hard to understand IMO.

Don't make your MCBR into a goddamned tire or LIM launch over 20kph or 12mph

well this is where im getting confused because i want my settings on my hill trims as follows:

-A transport segment
-Lims
-Speed set at 78 kph (dont want the train slowed down to 20kph)
-No acceleration
-Deceleration at 2g

Is this ok? Because your rule says that the speed in the dialogue box has to be 20kph and it would be a lot of messing around with deceleration G's to get it right.

Just a quick question, if there is a tunnel test failure caused by the station building would it would it count as a fail if a custom station is omitted due time issues?

Silver star has been fitted with magnetic trims now too:

Just make them standard brakes when you send in your track.
You can change them to magnetic when you upload your ride into the exchange.

Just hide the roof or the entire station building. It doesn't matter that much, as long as the station's track is in the X-marked area.

I had to do a tunnel test. It passes, but the tunnel itself seems to small. I am using the rectangle tunnel with the round roof. My turn is banked and the tunnel is not. Is this accurate?

^ Try tunneling the entire coaster at once instead of just a little section.

I'm in this... just 1 question - the track has to go under the power lines? It can't go over them if the supports don't touch the lines?

^No, clearly stated in the rules:
The blue diagonal lines are power lines, track and supports cannot
go over them.

Also, can we delete the boundaries once we finish?

Don't do that because it's really annoying for the judges. We have to put them back in. Making extra work for the judges is a good way to make them hate you.
