2012 No Limits Tournament - Finale - The Curse of Montu's Little Brother
So, it has come to this. From all the members who signed up some months ago, four are now left to build one last ride that could make them win the tournament.
The assignment:
A park in the french-speaking part of Egypt wants to expand. Unfortunately the only plot of the land the park was able to purchase was part of an archaeological area, and the uncovered tomb is now a tourist attraction. Nevertheless, the park still wants to add another coaster. They already have a fair number of family rides, and are looking for an intense inverted roller coaster to please the thrill seekers that do not like riding dragon wagons all day long. Werther the ride is long, short, high, low, launched or not, does not matter, just make sure it is kick-ass.
The coaster must be uploaded to the exchange at the latest on June 27th 11:59 PM (site time)
Please include a [NLT] tag and link to your coaster in this topic, so that the judges can find your track without difficulty.
Track/Train style must be an invert.
All track and supports must be within the blue lines.
The park does not want you to build over paths and the square, you can only
go under the paths and the square. (Indicated by pink lines)
Protests from foreign merchandise vendors that sell cheap knock-offs nearby the tomb have banned the placement of footers
on the structure and the area within the structure of the ancient tomb.
In addition, superstitious construction workers refuse to work on and under the tomb, in fear of a curse that is rumored to give people large noses.
In short, this means that if you plan on going crossing the tomb area, you will have to go over the ancient structure, and the supports can also be archored to the side of the ancient structure.
(The tomb area is indicated with red lines)
