The 2nd element from Gardaland looks good as well:

Looks like some kind of mix between a heartline and zero G-Roll. I hope to see some more pictures from that element. Because webcam view and the photo give 2 complete different angles.

Yeah, is this train running 6 across like Krake?

Looks like the webcam is a fisheye lens hence why the shaping looks funky?

I would assume its the 6-seater trains as the drop is too small for the 10-seater ones.

Gotta have faith in the family lol. I wonder how hard the launch is, did they say? And is anything going in the center? because it is definitely the least compact out of all the wings http://simplywallpaper.net/pictures/2014/08/Holiday-World-Thunderbird-Roller-Coaster-Wallpaper-10.jpg

Yes, The Voyage's 3rd camelback.

I like the layout. It keeps the vegetation nice and dense around both Thunderbird and The Voyage. Anything more in that section will make these coasters lose some authenticity.

I didn't realise that Krake (and probably the Gardaland Dive) used the standard B&M size track rather than the beefy stuff used on Oblivion / SheiKra etc!

Not much advancing about it actually. At a certain point you just need to increase the width of the track to lower the stress on the outer seats of the train. I wouldn't be surprised if it's possible to run the 6 seater cars on certain floorless coasters as well. (If the clearance would allow it of course. :) )

^ If you were thinking of doing that on any Six Flags coaster, you would fail... hard :P

I don't think the 2015 new rides are necessarily disappointing. Granted, the overall quality of the 2014 new rides might have been a bit better, but there are some really awesome looking rides. I think Wicked Cyclone has the potential to be the best of the RMCs because there is something interesting going on at every inch of the track. Twisted Colossus doesn't look as good as WC, but I'm sure it will be another awesome RMC, and it will probably be the new best coaster at SFMM. I personally think Fury 325 looks like a Top 20 or possibly a Top 10 ride. Sure, it probably won't be another Millennium Force or Intimidator 305, but it certainly won't be "forceless" like some people say. I also have a little more faith in Thunderbird than other wing coasters because of the launch, and the shorter trains may allow for tighter turns and higher G-forces. Overall, I think 2015 will be a great year for new coasters.

I think The Wing Coaster is going to be the next Invert. I'd really like to see a Dive/Wing Hybrid.

I don't think so they don't do it as the invert I think the giga/hyper will be the next invert

Word for word, I agree with your entire post. Actually watching these coasters grow, it changes your entire perspective.

+1 from me as well. It's amazing how many were on the 'omfg forceless POS' train with Fury, and now that's it's nearly fully completed, the attitudes seem to have changed. I think it's Leviathan (which in itself is at least neck and neck with Millennium in all factors except length) with a more complete layout and potentially more airtime, it'll be a top 10 steel contender on completion. The pair of RMC offerings look great and different from one other, and Thunderbird may well end up being the coaster to highlight that launches are the way to go for a wing rider!

Giga/hyper's are a big chunk of change as opposed to 12-15 mil for a Wing

It would be interesting to see a few of those pop up in the the U.S., but to me, buying a B&M family coaster is like buying a Rolls-Royce golf cart: it's unnecessarily expensive for the purpose it serves.

I'm still mad at B&M for practically copying Vekoma's layout on the family coaster. I really want some next-gen Vekomas in the US too.

In retrospect, despite some of the comments in this thread, I couldn't be more excited by the 2015 coasters opening in a few months.

I think this is an insanely good year for coasters. The RMC's are both looking really good with better pacing the originals, A B&M giga that will hopefully go the way of Banshee and some of the transitions seem to have a tiny snap to them, the Dive Machines have things other than immelmans, and two insanely unique hypers. Plus there will be two less standups in the world so thats a plus!
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

I don't remember any hypers being built.
