Today i made a trip to Phantasialand. I was REALLY looking forward to it cause i was going to ride my first b&m coaster, Black Mamba.

We arrived around 9.40 and we saw it was going be a good day. Nice weather and no long queues! First mission... Ride Black Mamba *duh* but when i entered the park i noticed a really nice mainstreet with a copy of the Brandenburger Toren.

But ok, up to Black Mamba. We entered the Deep in Africa area and i most say, they did their work very well here. The theming is awesome, imo. After waiting 10 minutes, ofcourse with a boner in oru pants... with all that lovely b&m steel [:p] the queueline opened and just 5 minutes later we were riding Black Mamba frontrow and OMFG... now i know why they call b&m the Rolls Royce of Rc?????????s :D it was just fantastic. The speed, the layout, the elements (Love zero-g) and specially smooooothness. Really an amazing ride.

After that, we went to the Wuze building were you can find The winja?????????s spinning coasters from Maurer.

You have two rides here, Fear & Force. They almost have the same layout but i iliked Fear more because of the first drop and the horshoe. Both tracks have some suprising elements and a really cool liftsystem. The track works like an elvetor and brings you up to the first drop.

We also passed by Temple of the Night Hawk. It's the longest indoor coaster in europe but imo it just sucks monkeyballs :D it's a boring ride. The most exciting moment was when the train pulled you over the lifthill (3 times in this case) when you?????????re riding it backseat :P The entire hall is as dark as hell, the music sucks and there are simply no effects :(

Then we went back to the other part of the park to check Mistery Castle (Freefall) and River Quest (rapid river).

Mistery Castle is a really nice themed Freefall altough they could have worked out the ride a bit more with a projection or something? It's just a dark tower and some lights at the top. River Quest is imo a top rapid river where you have the chance to come it SOAKED :P it has 3 nice drops, the first one is the heaviest after you exit the lift witch took you up (nice system)

Time for some food now, we took a frite and a cheeseburger witch wasnt that bad and imo cheaper then the price i had to pay in Parc Ast?????????rix 3 weeks earlier.

After the food, we did the log flume, in the case the track on your left. Later in the afternoon we did the the one on the right side. They both are a bit different but good not bad at all.

Then we headed back to the Deep in Africa zone to ride Black Mamba again.

This time backseat witch is intenser then frontseat :P the pre drop is a bit shaky but then it really pulls you down to the looping witch was really nice the first time :D Before we entered BM, we watched Talocan. Imo a top themed topspin with water, fire, smoke(?) effects and so on. I never ever did a topspin but this was going to be my first later on that day.

After BM, time to ride the Vekoma minetrain. For a minetrain it's pretty intense with some real good airtime moments witch i really didn't expect :P

The last 3 and a half hours we did Black Mamba another 3 times, always backseat and the last 2 rides were after eachother cause we had the last one for that day so we could stay in our seats! We did Mistery Castle another two times, River Quest a second time witch got me soaked ffs L The monorail + Talocan! I was a bit frightened for that cause i'm not a real big spin & puke lover and this thing spins like hell so... but while riding it, it gave me a huge kick of excitement :D the spinning loops are heavy but the moments when you just turn slowly 360????????? around is sick. Too bad i did it when i was sitting on the backrow so i couldn't enjoy much of the nice effects but afterall, really nice topspin.

My conclusion at the end of the day... Phantasialand is a great park, really good attractions, good theming altough the park is a bit to tiny to work out those themed zones even better. Disney for examples has lots more space to work around a theme. In phantasia for example, you have china town, 5 really nice chinese building but when you passed those you hop intoo The middle age or Mexico. But i'm also really positive about the way how they place all these attractions on such a small terrain. I'm certainly going back this summer!

i hope you liked my TR and sorry for the basic english :p i'm a bit repetitive with my words and sentences ^^

Great TR! I also love the pictures, they're few, but great angels and quality. You have pretty much the same feelings about the rides as I had some years ago, except the Winja's are really different from each other and only have some parts in common; and well, Black Mamba wasn't there at that time :(

Wow, Parc Asterix and Phantasialand in the same month, you're really lucky! :D

yea i was lucky to do these 2 parks in just one month [:D] right now i have nothing planned up till july (Tripsdrill & Holidaypark weekend) but maybe i'm going to moviepark Germany next month to check out that park.

nice to know you liked my TR and specially the pictures [:)] i hate the camera (really need a dslr) and you don't have much space in PHL to take good pictures, imo.
