Hey guys.
I know you have probably seen absoultely hundreds of these topics around but its really starting to annoy me now.
3ds are probably one of the most needed things in some of my tracks. Like the Oblivion recreation Im making now. But I cant make 3ds, and I feel bad becuase I keep having to ask people to make them for me (sorry Casper). So I would just like to find an easy 3d making program other than the NL Object Creator where I can build my own 3ds. One program I do find easy is Sketchup. But typically you cant convert them into the write file and I dont really want to pay that much money for the real version. I have found a picture from NL devcenter
http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i33216
of KrazyT`s Sheikra,(hope you dont mind KrazyT) and Im guseeing that its a 3D program. Any ideas what it is?
Anyways, thanks for reading and if you have any programs that would be so appreciated!
Thanks!
[:D]
Jordz.

i'm not sure but that also looks alot like sketchup to me. But then an imported coaster and the catwalks build next to it.

There are people around here who have the full version of sketchup and they are probably willing to export an object to 3D for you.

Is there any way of importing a ride into Sketchup and building around it?

Yes, it's the import 3D option, but when you import it becomes super small, thats my only problem.

Is that in the real version or the demo? Becuase on the import button on the demo version I have you can only import certain types of files, like 3ds files or Sketchup files but it wont allow me to open track files.

The trackfile has first been converted to a 3ds file with the full version from the construction kit [;)]

^ Youtube can get you the full version.

I do not believe that will solve the problem however.
