ok, i finally got my comp to not have that "access to the specified device, path, or file is denied" thing show up any more, but since I just got everything to work, even though when I download the 3ds, cartextures, and environments and stuff, I don't know how to make them show up in the simulator. Can anybody help me with this?

Thanks

you have to put the cartexture files into the cartexture folder (in the nolimits folder) same with the evironment and 3ds.

3ds into objects, environments, throw the env text file and all envirnment images into the environments folder, teartextures into teratextures folders, uhmmm cartextures into cartextures folder and done, select environments in the simulator from the envs list.

Is there any way you make the fps higher on coasters? (without having to buy a whole new computer)
like a program that you can buy or something?

Thanks

not that I know of. the only way to lower your fps, it to go into the options in the sim and make everything as "basic" as it will go. you can easly gain fps with that. but other than that, I'm not sure there's any way that you can.

Make sure your reflections are off because when someone uses water that will probably eat half off your framerate, but i think you already turned those off [:p]

Sometimes it helps to have no themeing (trees, 3ds) for me. There's an F button for that which I cannot right now remember, you should check from the help on the sim.

Depends on what GPU you have right now, and what GF4 you?????????re thinking about! But generally speaking I would say, upgrading the GPU helps.
