i am almost done with my namesake coaster, "Cheetaking". I need a couple people that know lots about wood coasters to tell me how the track layout is. The trackwork is completely done, and all that is left are the tunnels and the station/queue. If you would like to test ride my new coaster, leave your e-mail so I can send it out to you. The specs follow.

The 160ft+ wood twister megacoaster... one of the most hated coaster types. Mean Streak, Rattler, Son of Beast, all complete failures. Every wood coaster over 160 feet tall has been a disaster. I have tried to make a good coaster like this before, (Thrasher 2), but it was highly unrealistic and a bit too far on the edge for a woodie. Now, I have created a more realistic, finer tuned, and much more exciting coaster. Cheetaking has an insane combination of hills, curves, drops, insane airtime, and wicked lateral g's. The banking and out-of-control feeling are highly realistic for a woodie, and it is probably my best normal wood coaster, over Thrasher 2, The Screamin Rattler, and Spectre. So, any takers? Leave me your e-mail and let me know what you think of the coaster.

CHEETAKING:

Height: 172 ft
Length: 5626 ft
Top Speed: 68 mph
Angle of Descent: 64.3 degrees
Tunnels: 3
Curves: 16
Hills: 16

I know the name is "Cheeta-King" in pronunciation, but I just want to see "chee-taking" for some reason, lol .

The name is actually my screen name on basically any site where "cjd" is already taken. It was also my nickname in a club I had back in 5th grade.

Not bad, when you have smoothed it over and gave it a good heart lining im sure its going to be very cool, i like the last bit as its a bit of fun before you have to end the ride. Good work!

I will test it if you need anyone else to. Im okay at woodies, check out my last woody. It scored around 8.5 i think, which is okay! eddymob11@aol.com

Its okay if you already have enough testers, its just i like testing woodies!!!!

There will be a major delay in sending the track out to anyone else at this point. My computer's hard drive was just killed by a nasty virus, is unfixable, and I have lost every single file on it. The good news is that I saved my AdrenaLand project, The Rockler 2, Cheetaking, and all of my other important coaster files to flash drive about a month ago, so it is just a setback, not the end of all my work. However, I will not be able to send the track to anyone else until I can get a new hard drive for my laptop. Sorry about this unfortunate delay, but there is nothing I could do about it.

Do you think Colossos was a failure? ;) Looks like a pretty damn good woodie that is over 160' tall

But this woodie sounds interesting, I will test if you need another tester.

Colossos is not a 160ft+ wood twister megacoaster, it is a 160ft+ wood out-and back megacoaster. Therefore, it does not count in this case. BTW, there are more apparent problems with my computer than just the hard drive, so I have had to return the disfunctional thing to Gateway for a 1-2 week tune-up. I will get back on this project as soon as I get my computer back.
