a totally awsome photo

this picture was given to me by my grandad.
i have been doing a family tree over the past year and out of the blue while asking my grandad about my great grandad (ive gotten further back than that in a year) he said "i have some old photos of him, ill go get them.
he brought out a dusty old book from the book case and opened up to this photo
a picture of my great grandad with my aunt in his arms and a monkey on his sholder in dreamland park, margate 1955


im still stunned by this photo and im fixated on it, what a wonderful piece of family history.

no he dosent have the " tubby gene " like i do but i dont have it either, im just addicted to food.

but it is an awsome photo and im digging deeper into his life as a balistics expert.

maybe, but i still want the monkey. even if it is dead. i shall keep it and shave my cat, cover the bones in the shaved fur and pretend it is still alive but anorexic AND IT WILL BE MY MONKEY
