I thought I might take a break from Coyote Rage (which is coming along nicely btw), and I built this. I am still lacking supports, but the track and building are done.

Abyss is actually my first themed ride (well not if you count Mirage, but I built that a long time ago). The ride starts off in Purgatory, where you are awaiting your eternity in Hell. When it is your turn, you board the train and are launched into Hell (a spaghetti bowl of helixes, loop-de-loop inversions, all in a pitch black building). This is also my first coaster to use multicolored track. The launch and brakes fade from red to black, and black to red.

Lol, hell. This ride is funny already!
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Nice Idea!
All RCCAs should be RMC'd. And that event shall be henceforth known as the Rollercaust.

I got rid of the airhill and replaced it with a corkscrew. The airhill felt out of place in the ride, and I think the corkscrew fits in alot better.

Good choice on replacing the air hill with a corkscrew, bad choice in making it pitch black. Its a nice idea in real life, but for sim purposes, it detracts from the ride. Maybe if you can find a way to light parts of the track and hide others, that would be cool. I do like the way the layout is looking. Pretty original from the shots you've shown us.
