Hey guys.
I have a quick question to ask becuase im making a Euro-Fighter and I was wondering how to AHG the over 90 degree drops or if you can AHG them. If any of you know how to, it would be a great help!
Thanks!
Jordz.

I think you must colour the upper half of the tower pure black.

ive always heartlined it without the drop and lift then added it in after heartlining. its a bit of a painful process but works a treat

I always heartline everything, from the end of the last lift segment, to the first end brake.

<EDIT> I just tryed to AHG a 95' drop, and it came out as a tophat with two vertical twists. I don't understand, yesterday I tryed to AHG a past vertical drop on a dive machine and had no problems.[confused]

Divide the drop into about.. 4-6 parts. Once you get to the FIRST part of the drop that is *not* vertical in any way or over vertical, AHG from there. That way, if you have a turn directly after and you want the bank to flow out from the drop, you can. Not the entire drop will be AHG'd, but the area following the over vertical section should be to create a smooth lead...

It all depends on certain things. The amount of segments you use during AHGing, the filter, the precision... it can amount to completely different results.

^[lol] I've seen that link come up in the most random threads. Mandarin if you want some help on AHGing I think there's an official topic about it. Check out the Buster AHG 1.6 topic, I think some pointers were left in there...?

Also, Unless the drop is curved or twisted in any way, is there really a need to heartline it? Of course because you're asking, I bet it is, and in that case I have no idea but my first thought would be Calaway's suggestion. Break-it-up!
