Alton in october

Does anyone know if Alton is open on weekdays in october. It seems so from the website, but I'm not sure. Also does anyone know a cheap hotel\motel\bed and breakfast not too far from alton that is cheaper than the resort hotels.

nice timing mate, theres a meetup in october. dates not set yet but will be very soon. to answer your question it is open as usual 10am - 6pm 7 days a week apart from the storm at the towers firework display which meens altons open till 10pm. there is a hotel 2 inits from the park entrance offering rooms at ?????????35 a night per person.

there are b&bs every where type in "bed and brekfasts in Alton" on google then you should get something, or there is a travel lodge in Uttoxeter the near by town (on the a50)that is very cheap but very nice from what I have herd. but you will find 100s of b&bs around here.

I went there in October last year, I think it was a Monday and a Tuesday. There were no lines! All the coasters were walk-on except Rita with a 30min wait. I stayed at a bed&breakfast place 15 minutes from there, and the owner gave me a drive to the park[:)]

Cool. The meet up would be fun. I looked at the resort hotels, and they seemed pretty expensive.
