i was just looking back at my old coasters and noticed i have a coaster with 92 downloads and absolutely zero ratings. i personally don't care about it, but i can imagine that there are many other people who's coasters go unrated. This is why i feel it might be necessary to bring up the old disscussion of whether or not there should be a required percentage of coasters downloaded that need to be rated in order to continue downloading coasters.

well first of all all my older coaster don't have ratings because they got deleted when the site moved. which is why most of the older coasters don't have any ratings on them.

it's a good idea, no denying it here, but I hate the pressure of being forced to rate something and say "yeah this was a good track" or "yeah this track was bad, work on it more" I prefer voluntary ratings as it tends to be more explanatory than forceful words to just to be able to download again. That is the main reason why we wont force people to rate as then we will get more complaints on ratings then.
