as far as stereotypes.. it has been, think about it.. if you were THAT afraid of people finding out you were gay you'd do what you could to try to prove you "weren't"
sounds mean, but i'd bet dollars to donuts that many of our soldiers and marines and other tough types become that way to hide thier sexuality from people..
