Ya as some of you may know, i'm a musician, and a mediocre recording engineer. Lately some of the songs i create will not run due to an error in pro tools. the error states "DAE cannot get audio from the drives fast enough". I highly doubt any of you have had this issue, but its worth a shot because nothing online has answered the question. and hints or clues or ideas would be great.

i think what you are saying is that your audio isnt be saved to the right folder on your disk..like maybe you started a session from a different folder than where the output is..i;ve had that problem sometimes ,i think i solved it by moving individual audio tracks back into the right folder .. which is a pain.. also if you are trying to import audio into protools from somewhere else make sure the "current folder" is the one for that particular project you are working on ..

Im not sure about that^ because its really more random. I make sure i save my stuff in the same folders every time, (normally just the default spot). This issue occurs randomly for random songs. it has nothing to do with file size or CPU loading either.

dont sweat it.. i'm curious to see how it worked out..i'm still using 6.4 because it's the newest one that'll run on the digi 001.. and having that dedicated pci card makes things super stable..
