some people can pass out around 4g's and other pass out at around 10g, so its mainly dependent on the rider. But for no limits i would say 5g is easily survivable

I'm not sure if I'm right, but I think the G's aren't for real @ NL, and the speed isn't either. Am I right or not?

As someone said earlier it all depends on the rider. Fighter pilots often experience up to 10G's and dont even pass out, while others pass out at 4. I would say 5 is definately within limits for about 2 seconds, so you should be alright there.

How can someone pass out at 4? They can't even ride Raptor if they pass out at 4. Either way, high g's are usually experienced very shortls=y (except for those poor pilots)

it all depends on how long. on raptor and other coasters, they dont last that long.

Best example: A snieze or football tackle, falling on the couch etc: up to 40g. Noone notices.

A space-shuttle-launch: mostly not more than 3g. Most intense experience astronauts will feel, ever.

It's all about period, not intensity. If you blood is displaced with 3g (3 times your weight) for several minutes like on a space shuttle, your heart has to comoensate and beat 3 times as hard for minutes!

Another exampl: Raptor's Helix is by far the most intense part of the ride, but only pulls 3.2g's. The loops pull 4.5g, but for a short time, so the helix feels more intense.

yes, but fighter pilots also have a lot of training, and build "immunity" against high g forces, but they can still pass out if they experience the g's for far to long.

Do you think that someone should possibly make an article about g forces, as there has been a lot of g related posts lately, maybe to save everyone some time, someone could make an article about it..........not me however as I am a dumbass [lol]
