I've been trying to use this tool for a little bit now but with no luck.
I am just trying to make a twist coming down off of a top hat and it keeps making my track all wierd.
I saved the piece I want heartlined as an element and tried a bunch of stuff but no luck :(
I also read in the readme file I read something about different colored segments or something...where is this in the tool?

Thanks in advance for any tips/hints

You must put speed in f/s upon entry and exit for it to work, READ THE README that comes with it, that will explain what needs to be known.

I thought it was m/s?

And Yeah, I did read the entire readme but it still isn't working, even for such a simple element.

My bad, I meant m/s, and what is not working with it. If it is giving you a rough element with ugly bumps, it is because the AHG magnifies even the smallest bumps, causing it to output a worthless element if the original was not perfectly smooth. I'd reccommend using it for elementary/purgatorium elements as well as very simple or extremely smooth elements, and nothing more. If you are having other problems, just say specifically what they are and hopefully one of us will be able to help you, perhaps Buster will even provide some info.

AHG worked great for me...Not everyone has the math knowledge to create heartlined tracks from formulas...I dont even.

First, You need to save the element you wish to heartline to a new file. Make sure you know the exact speed in whatever standard you use (MPH or KmPH) at the beginning, and the end of those segments. I suggest that in the original track file, you mark those peices of track with a bright color. Then, in the game as it approaches and touches those peices, write down the speed. Need speed at beginning and ending of segment.

Then, save new element/track to new NL file. In that file, highlight all the track that has negative G's. Anything past 0.0, such as -0.1, needs to be colored so the AHG doesnt flip it around.

To do this, highlight those peices of track and bring up the color chooser. Select the SPINE color, and make it PURE black. If your banking is already pretty good, I would reccommend making the entire thing pure black, it just works better.

Now, save it as another name.

Open up Google and type in (where ** is your speed) **mph in m/s or **kph in m/s and search it. It should bring up the numbers you need to stick into the AHG.

Open the AHG, open the element. Stick in the numbers and run it. It should run with no error (if you took the right numbers) and then open up your new file (save as something different, dont overwrite stuff, never good) and examine it.

Someone noted, it will make bumpy track worse. Just like the Smoother, it will not turn a crappy track into a great track. These tools assume your track is already VERY good. You are taking good chances if your track is not.
