X is lateral movement
Y is Vertical movement
Z is backwards and forwards

Im sure Buster or someone will give you a more detailed explanation

how do i know the height and lenghts and everything from the editor???

just looks at the measurements on the x,y and z axis

Highlight the peice of track you want to find the length of and it the length will be at the top-right hand corner. If you want to see the hight just put your cursor over the highest part of track and you Y axis will tell you your hieght. Simple really.
