Yeah, I'd love to move to Ohio one day. Looks like you can get similiar thrills to VA there plus a lot more. Diamondback looks a lot like Apollo's Chariot, Raptor sounds on par with Alpengeist, theres actually a GOOD standup coaster there Mantis, everybody compares I305 to Millenium Force first thing when they think of a comparison. Maverick looks excellent, I've seen the footage and it looks like it has a lot of elements and that part where its a moving launch into a lot more rollercoaster track looks awesome. The Beast and Magnum are easily from what I read the 2 coasters that stand the test of time the best. You might think CP is overated, but from someone who hasn't been there, obviously you've probably heard it before, looks like the best theme park in America.
But I'm not the first to say that videos don't do I305 justice though. In fact, a lot of people say that. When I watched it I thought it looked boring and the only thing I thought it had going for it was the speed. I won't explain how incredibly wrong I was but lets just say you have to ride it and feel.
The problem with going to all these theme parks just to ride one ride though is I can't imagine ever being able to afford the gas, price of ticket, have the time to travel, rent a hotel, and visit all these theme parks just to get the experience of Voyage, or S:ROS. Just living in a good theme park area and visiting my good home parks sounds affordable enough for me. But, who knows, I might get rich one day and have a lot of time on my hands.
