Bad rating again

I also think Dj-Javixxxxx is rating coasters way to low. Just look at his response at RCTAndy's new ride [http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/detail.asp?tid=3226] He gave a description why he didn't like it, but I still don't think that it is a very fair one. It seems like he always has the lowest rating on a coaster. Now it's ok to be a tough rater, Because I know I am one, but to be a harsh rater is something different. And I think Dj-Javixxxxx is a harsh rater.

he said to build "higher and bigger" ?!?! he took off points because the ride wasnt high or big enough??? thats a terrible reason to take off points! he takes off for the stupidest reasons! i dont think he should be allowed to rate anymore.. not to mention that his rides are a microcosom of everything he takes off for.

I think Dj-Javixxxxx has a plex against you. Maybe he's mad because of criticism. That's why you post coasters to get rated.[approve]

The track exchange rating program is based on constructive criticism. That means, that you learn from your mistakes and how to keep improving in a certain field. Opinions play no role in this...which is why taking off because "I didn't like it" is B.S. If you don't like it, don't rate it. From what I can see, Dj-Javixxxxx takes off for what he notices and how he thinks the author can improve. That is constructive criticism. If you're looking for someone to go:

It was good. Rating: 10

then you shouldn't post in the exchange. (At least that's my opinion--you get nothing from it).

So, in the end, quoting Cpfan2008, "And I think Dj-Javixxxxx is a harsh rater." ... then don't post anything. If you're too afraid of what someone might say then you are not confident enough to post something. Post it HOPING people will take off for every little teensy-tiny tid-bit of error so next time, you can check yourself and when you have done this enough, you have improved so highly that you will get high ratings. Then, hopefully, they will look like this:

The <x> was amazing and the <y> was perfect! Excellent choice of <z>! So much <g> and <p> I just wanted to keep riding it! Rating: 10

that's a little more along the lines after your coasters are so perfect that there is absolutely nothing to take off for.

Take Real's Top Thrill Dragster recreation...it wasn't that good--I've seen a lot better. Yet, everyone gave it a 10 because he was the first to attempt it and it was pretty close.

Anyway, just my opinion on why people shouldn't crab at the first sight of something they personally don't like.

When you are the police of something, go for it...but now, you just look childish.

Why don't you go rate those coasters the way you think instead of ticking off WWS and people like me by having to read these bullcrap posts. If you think something should be done, you can take the chance by rating his bad.
