Hey guys

Ive got tickets to "give it a name" in Manchester YAY. Anyway it got me wondering who everyone on here has seen in concert? Whats the best concert you've been too, whats the worst? Whos the best live? Whos the crappest live? I was also wondering if anyone else has been to see any of the bands im going to see in concert! Im seeing:

- My chemical romance (headlining)
- PANIC! at the disco [:D]
- Underoath
- Atreyu
- The bled
- The ataris
- Men women and children
- erm and some others. :P

ANyone seen any of them live, were they any good? I know MCR are apparently crap live, im more excited about seeing PANIC and Underoath [:D]

Anyway, who have you guys seen in concert? [:)] Musics good to discuss, i know theres already a topic but this is for concerts [:p]

*walks off singing*

*rolls eyes* [lol] jpe, I think I've said all I need to say on msn [;)].

ANYWAY, in answer to your questions, Arch Enemy in Wolverhampton on the 16th of December last year was undoubtedly the greatest gig anyone has ever seen, let alone me [lol]. I might be exagerating, but still, it fookahn ruled! I got ejected for crowd surfing 5 times in the space of a minute! [lol] totally the most awesome thing ever! As for crappist, I've never been to a crap gig, I guess the worst was Amen in Birmingham, but they were still pretty good ... so, I guess I'm just gonna say nothing for that [:)]

Yeah Panic are easily the most talented band ive heard in a long time. Its a shame they dont have a couple of screamo songs though! But i like singing aswell so i love them [:D] I bet they are gonna be the best live, along with Atreyu?

I've seen too many bands live to name them all.

One of the best performances I have seen though would be by AC/DC..by far.

I agree with SFMM homie about underoath not having the greatest live show. The last time I saw them, not only were all the opening bands better, but they also played longer. Underoath only played for maybe 30 minutes. It wasn't even dark out by the time the concert was over! But in a way it was good..as I still had time to drive home and goto the beerstore [lol]

I've been to too many concerts for my lazy self to list, but my favorites so far have been Damageplan/Shadows Fall, Black Label Society, System of a Down, and the last American Head Charge show I went to. The worst band I've seen has to be Otep, opening for Head Charge once. If you want an example just listen to this http://www.youtube.com/?v=ijy_M5GC7SI. Also I'm hoping to get tickets to Opeth (not to be confused with Otep) in a couple days.

Ugggh, I wish I could go to this. The nearest they're coming to me is Chicago, which is about a nine hour drive from Minnesota. Can't wait for that new In Flames BTW, the two songs I've heard are awesome, way better than STYE.

In Flames stopped being good when they released Reroute To Remain. The Jester Race and Colony are easily their best.

I saw Atreyu live, unfortunately. They suck a lot worse live than on CD.

I saw the Who back in 04 or or 03 (I don't remember) when they went on tour last. They were pretty amazing, I thought they were just going to be half assing it since they were so old. I was wrong.
I also went to this radio disney concert thing when I was 10 or 11 because we got some free tickets for it. Yea, I'm definately glad they were free. Boring, it was!

The first concert I saw was Metallica in 1981 with Dave Mustaine playing lead (before "Kill 'Em All" was released) in New York City -- this was before "moshing" was really even known about, and before most of you could pee by yourselves. Now, if anyone beats that let me hear it.

As far as a list, you guys would crap yourself if I went through the tickets I have in a shoebox at the house, so I shall save you of that agony.

Wow Ton, that Metallica concert would have been great. I do have a one up on you though, and I know you'll agree with me. My brother took me, at the tender age of 8 (1981) to a see Rush at Harra Arena in Dayton Ohio on the Moving Pictures tour. We sat about third row on the side. I also still have my ticket sitting in the back of my copy of Moving Pictures CD. I am proud to say I haven't missed a single Rush Tour since then.

Though Rush was obviously huge at that time and Metallica was still very much unknown, so you do have bragging rights at seeing them before they exploded.

P.S. By that time I was well past the peeing myself stage, though I was still into Mr Rogers and the Electric Company.[:D]

Last good concert I saw was Clawfinger. These guys really rock live (though their CD's are quite bad except Zeros & Heroes) , and they made the whole club jump around all the time! Dream theater are quite impressive... I've seen them only once so far. I love to go to see some ol'rhythm'n blues bands in a vintage club near where I live.

But the best is still to rock the stage with your own songs [devilish]
