you're both retards and you're both wrong [lol]. Hyyyper, there have been other threads asking if anyone is in a band or not, not just about bands that you like. Having said that, there hasn't been one for a while asking if anyone is in a band, and things change, so it's fully well acceptable for there to be a new topic now asking if anyone is in a band, so ha, you're both stupid tards [lol].

Anyway, no, I'm not in a band, although I do play the drums... alone [V] hahaa.

well , i've worked on tons of stuff, over the last 10 or so, but technically only one band"sugarrush railroad inc." which is the name i've used for most of my "singing type music" here's three links to my stuff... 95% of the instrument playing is mine, and 100% of the vocals..
the lazy j stuf is more ambient, a little more brian eno/ tangerine dream influenced , while sugarrush railroad inc. is simular we've been compared to galaxie 500, or the velvet underground, and everyone who's got it calls it "psychedelic" the "phaedrider revelation" stuff is purely experimental, there's only one song listed there, but i have more.. in fact "stuck at the top" from the lazy j. site is more like this.. it involves hacked speak and spells and rewired casio keyboards from the 80's .. i'm not fan of trent reznor, but he uses some of these too, i 've been told, so i guess he's like a peer. in any case most of you will think it's [r]but it's all (almost) me
here's some stuff i posted on myspace http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=23189433

and herehttp://profile.myspace.com/index.cf ... d=23559844 as sugarrush railroad incorporated

and some wierd experimental stuff here http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=48833753
it's the only stuff i have online but there's tons more on cassette from my four track days and some videos and heaven knows whats on my hard drive ... i don't expect most people to like it, but you asked....

i have a few synths.. i have a 1974 arp oddyssey, also known as my baby.http://www.synthmuseum.com/arp/arpodyssey01.html mines an earlier one than this. it's white.. i also have a roland juno 106, which not only is one of the best poly synths EVER, i use it as my main midi controller..to this day the midi interface is still one of the best, and i'd rather have it than a nord lead. http://www.synthmuseum.com/roland/rolju10601.html
i also have a korg polysix, it was made in 1981, so no midi, but when i have the time i'm going to instal a midi interface for the keyboard and rackmount it without the keyboard. it just makes some of the nicest sounds ever, gotta love that arpeggiator
http://www.synthmuseum.com/korg/korpolysix01.html
also i'm baby sitting a freinds korg poly 800 II which he left hre for to be repaired.. good korg sounds, because of their awesome filters, but kind of cheap and it's midi interface is crap.. however a very simple mod will give one real time controll over the filter, i just have to get permission first http://www.synthmuseum.com/korg/korpoly80001.html
i'm more of an analog guy, and i perfer vintage equipment. i don't really like sample based synths, like the tritons and alesis qx's , but i understand thir purpose.
i also have a 1965 or so farfisa transistor organ, google it, and an early 70's hohner international electronic piano, also a circuit bent casio sk1 and sk5, and half a dozen old preset style synths from the 80's
what synth do you have.

which synth do you have..

^ i'm really cheap-o. so the best synth i have is the microKORG i got off e-bay, lol. i also use the D3200 for recording. http://www.korg.com/gear/info.asp?A_PROD_NO=D3200 which took some saving up for me. right now, however, i'm trying to get a VIRUS T1 Keyboard. http://www.access-music.de/events/11-2004/virusti_details_keyboard.php4 but i don't know when that's going to happen.[|)]

i used to do some single stuff under the alias 'Zoozer' (loser, get it?). i might post some stuff up on myspace or some website later, i guess. as for HERZ, it's mainly electro-punk.

I've been in a couple bands, nothing too significant.

I used to be (still am I guess...just don't go) in a pipes and drums band. That was fun as hell.

DO NOT i repeatDO not underestimate the micro korg.. while the ms 2000 is bigger it's the same engine.. i bought one one evening and woulda kept it if i didn't , by pure coincidence, run into the juno the very next day.. (long funny story about the only peice of equipment i've ever returned) it has a pretty good simulated sample hold and can emulate alot of the sounds that vintage synths are famous for, and there's free software on the internet that aloows you to make patches in real time wih out the "click and push" buisiness of it's built in interface.. if you want i'll send you a link.. .. in fact if we go on tour i'm buying one, because i sure as hell aint taking MY synths on the road.
also if a good classic sound is what yer looking for i'd be happy with the micro korg, and save the money you's spend on the virus...

ha ha, thanks. i might as well save the money as for right now i'm kinda flat out. i never did underestimate the power of it cause my friend told me that it was one i should get. i actually managed to get it for $180 which is extremely cheap compared to $500 it was going for.

as for that, i you want, i'd prefer to e-mail a song since i'm already having trouble keeping up with one myspace, lol.

reazlly good price for a good synth.. if i'd had the money i woulda kept it , if not just for the vocoder, for it's portability.. ps the included mic sux... the vocoder is actually pretty good, but you have to plug in a decent mic.. FUNFUNFUNFUNFUN!!!!!set up a pattern in midi that you can sing along with and set it to vocoder and run the whole thing through a delay and YIPPITIE YAYYYY... um that's how far i got in the 6 hours i owned the thing... it's just that i bought it thinking i'd never get a juno 106.
