This is the only problem I have with the Batman Clones, they are world-wide, and too overdone.

Except for this one, I like the theming around this one the best. Too bad it is in Madrid.

Top Gun at PGA. It may only have 3 inversion but that love packs some force.

Top Gun/Flight Deck @ CGA is good, Raptor is OK, I like the Batman clone @ SFMM, but the best by far is Top Gun/Afterburner @ Carrowinds

Raptor is fun. I don't like the drop though. And it has SUCH a weak ending... relatively, I mean.

Batman and Montu, now those things keep up throughout the whole damn thing! Batman was a tad short but brought some punch to the table. And Montu's drop is wicked.

Montu is ridiculous, just insane lol. The only invert that gives you a loop after the MCBR, and I love it! Not to mention the madness with the themed trench action. Can't wait to ride it again in May!

I have to say, the last wingover into the low water turn is love wicked on Top Gun @ CGA. It's like riding a whip.
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Aside from being a near clone of Talon it looks slightly faster and more pacy to me.

I've always been a fan of the Batman clones, Raptor was a lot of fun too though.

I guess I'll tell about the 2 I've been on which are obviously Alpengeist and Volcano.

Alpengeist is fun, but theres no thrill for me anymore really. You know, I like the 6 inversions, very nice theming and view. Just no IT factor.

Volcano is fantastic. Its a good ride but when I went to Halloween Haunt at night, man, it was easily the 2nd best experience at a theme park I had last year next to riding Intimidator 305 for the first time when it didn't have extra trims.

Yeah, volcano is great. I only ride it front seat cuz the wind in your face and seeing the scenery at 70mph makes that much of a difference. At night, man, that was one of the best rollercoaster experiences I ever had. Though, I'm pretty limited so far in my rollercoaster experiences. I might go to Carowinds for the first time this year though.

I rode Volcano... It's a fun ride, yes... but it has nothing on Montu...
Oh, were you expecting something here?

The rolls are very awkward and unusual especially since they ride is inverted, and that in particular made the experience unique for me when I rode once in '98. I was hoping there would be scenery inside the volcano but there isn't any...you're only inside it during the ride for like 2 seconds anyways. It's fun riding alongside the volcano too, and the speed feels a little faster than it may look offride. Weird ride, but I think the experience is more fun that it may look, based on what I remember.

I always thought it was cool that it had two launches separated by that turn. Also it goes without saying that the immelman looks cool, out of the volcano head.

Also, rcking, lol I would probably pick to ride Montu over Volcano as well but they're designed around quite different ideas.

By how it looks, I mean, you got 4 inversions, 3 are just corkscrews. But, man, the 2 launches feel fantastic.

3 favorite moments are Intimidator 305 for the first time, riding Griffon 10 times on a rainy day in the first row, and Volcano and night in front row.

I'm the kinda guy that rollercoasters are usually short enough that one big moment can make the ride better than another ride with lots of elements but no big moment. Like dropping on the Griffon excites me more than anything on Apollo's Chariot even though theres so much more to Apollo.

Volcano, you got the extreme feeling of the 2 blasts and then the heavenly scenic cruise seeing the wonderful sights of kings dominion while flying around leisurely 150 feet in the air.

B&M inverts dont do much for me. They are all positive forces and occasional forces, and are claustrophobic feeling except in the front where it has a lag, and they are all kind of the same feeling to me. The only ones i really enjoyed were Talon, Raptor, and Deuling Dragons. Volcano is my favorite by far. It has such a raw and powerful launch, a unique layout, a large turn around the back that just feels so speedy and fast, and the barrel rolls so high in the air are just so fun and provide great hangtime and lats. Plus the feeling of going up and out of the volcano is so unique, and diving back in is just so fast feeling. Its just a cool ride.

Wait speedy...AND fast? That must be a crazy turn lol.

Anyways in response to what dimmusak said, consider that the 3 inversions on Volcano are not corkscrews, they're heartline rolls...meaning you get -1G on each in the middle, which pretty much equates to an airtime hill. Yes the forces aren't sustained like they might be on a hill, but they're dynamic enough that when combined with the rider orientation and the unusual visuals they're a lot of fun. That's just me though, I guess.

Exactly what i think. Has a variety of forces including lats because of those rolls. Plus they are taken slowly making the effect of hanging upsidedown so much better.
