That turn-ejector-turn section on Excalibur is amazing, but I think SFMM's Goliath has it beat in "helix-ness."

Batman: The Ride at SFGAdv has been running alot faster and more intense lately. On my trip to SF while riding the helix on Batman my legs went numb. Nitro's Helix also gets my vote too; blacking out to the point of my vision going black is fun :)

Urgh, that's a quite tough choice actually...
My favourite would be Katuns final helix before the brakerun...
It's quite forcefull, and it's in a trench. Also, there's many plants growing around it...
The second place would be tied between Sierra Tonantes swooping spiral thingy, the helix out of the 3rd lift on Mammut, and the final helix on Blue Tornado... Actually, that helix is the only thing keeping it worth going on...

Being a Dorney native, Talon's helix is very intense in the back...but Raptors is deff. just a little better in the back as well...but I'm still partial to the BEAST =P

Raptor's is my favorite by far. It's just leg numbing. One of my favorite elements on any ride anywhere.

After going to CP each of the last two saturdays, i agree with everyone who said raptors final helix. front seat night time, that ride is amazing. and you have to take your shoes off, makes it all the better.

but the thing is, we got in line right as the park was closing for our last ride, and this past saturday, it seemed like they didnt slow the train down at all threw the MCBR. two saturdays ago, we(as in my friends and i) remembered that it did slow down. so with it not slowing down, the second part seemed so fast and a lot more powerful, idk, it was weird, but amazing!!!

I think there's a 3-way tie between the Beast, Raptor, and Goliath SFMM. All are awesome. Though helices on inverts always seem better than they would be on a sitdown.
BUT, if it's just turns in general, MF's first overbank makes my vision go purple.

Huh. Everyone talks about roller coasters blacking them out or doing funky stuff to their vision. I've never had anything like that happen to me. Things like MF and Raptor did nothing to me!

same here, i have no problems.
although i did feel a little weird on mantis recently, but that was only because my balls were being smashed way to hard, haha.

I think on mantis the feeling of your balls being crushed is the cause of the black out moments. And since when does B:TR have a helix?

I didnt until backlot stunt coasters first helix. That is also very intense. And btw, the b&m standups arent as comfortable as the togos. Anyways is mantis really that bad if you are able to get comfortable.

Good Call, very fun!!!

Beast and Raptors are amazing.

The Double Loop at GL had a very fun helix. Gemini at CP when there are no brakes(not to often). Also, who can forget all those Arrow Mine rides full of them...I mean come on, CCMR at CP has the double helix ending...it just makes me smile, very fun.

the only weird feeling iv ever experienced on a coaster was my nuts being crushed on phoenix's last bunny hills before the brakes.

other than that i just have fun and have never had the feeling of blacking out

Haven't been to Cedar Point for Raptor yet ... But it sounds like it has a great helix.

For me, Goliath at SFMM was "eh". I didn't like the black out part that much. Patriot at Worlds of Fun had a pretty good ending helix. And Mamba has a pretty forceful one too.

Both SFMM and SFFT have Goliath coasters with strong helices...I also really liked Nitro's helix and SROS's helices were sooo much stronger than I thought they were going to be.

Im going to agree that Excalibur's helix is pretty amazing. I will however disagree with everyone who has said that Raptor's helix being the best, Im sorry, but Raptor's helix was a bit too rough for me, it was almost painful.
Kumba's Helix is also a great one, as well as SheiKra's.

Talons is good but Raptor beats it. The best helices I have been on must be, Talon, Steel Force, and my number one Laser. All at my home park to. All those helixes are wonderfully fun and forceful, ok, maybe Talon's not forceful but its fun.

the final helix on the millenium roller coaster fantasy island is a very very good helix. its pretty forceful, loverly shape, nice and smooth, goes very close to the public below and from underneath you can actually touch the train as it flys by. love it
