This poll is worthless without Dollywood [:)] If I have to choose from that list, BGE for the win! It's has the most amazing coasters in the most amazing environment.

There are too many parks to chose form. My favorite though I get board with it quickly would be my home park of Dorney. Just a loyalty thing.

I voted CP even though I've never been their in my life. I live close to Six Flags America and Hershey Park. CP is like roller coaster enthusiast world lol.

I voted Valleyfair...well I would, but this poll was put together without any proof-reading so what the heck.
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

Valleyfair or Dorney the best park in North America? lol you've gotta get out more often, unless of course you like weak hyper coasters, good but not great B&Ms, and a severe lack of Intamin love :P

It depends on what you're looking for, but since I'm more interested in the coaster side of parks (though I weigh other factors too), I'm thinking Cedar Point, with honorable mention going to Great Adventure, and maybe Magic Mountain, Islands of Adventure, and Disney World...I don't particularly care for Disney World but there are millions of people who do so it should be up there on the list of the top parks too.

Holiday World.

Best Atmosphere.
Best prices - by a long shot
Best offers - free soda - free parking - free sunscreen
Amazing Rides
Top notch Water Park - included with admission

Best prices on merch - hats are 9 bucks. Shirts are 9 bucks. Ive never seen merch cheaper than there.

No smoking!

Friendliest staff
Cleanest park

I cant say those for any other parks in those lists. Not even Disney. Several parks have great rides. Several parks have great water parks. But all inclusive? With all those other perks?

CP would rank way down that list for me.

Even if I absolutely love family Busch's parks,I can say with no doubts that Cedar Point rocks.
I've been there for the first time 2 weeks ago and, probably,I'm still excited but WOW what a combination of thrilling high quality rides!
And that "old" feeling in some places is something special;the position is unique especially when you ride the lift of Millennium Force.
All the people incredibly sweet and kind, quite clean and well organized.
Just one thing:I'm italian and I find "your" parks extremely expensive but I even know that they offer a great variety of rides so the price is justified.
A last thing:for my personal experience I want to forget the 2 days at SFMM!

^Eh you got lucky. I have at least one negative experience per visit to CP.

Well, two. Since I always experience someone smoking in line and seems most employees are too baby to say something. I usually have too which is sad.

If you are one of those who are impressed by the corporate america parks - IE SF, CP or Disney - next time try a park like Knoebles, Holiday World, Dollywood or Hershey Park. They will set a new standard.

It's impossible to find the "best" park in the US because, as you all have seen, people have vastly different ideas of what makes a great park. For me a lot of the things Real said aren't very important, but that's just me. I like a variety of excellent roller coasters in my parks, and I used to live very close to BGE so I know what landscape and other quality can be. If Real for example doesn't place my wants as high as I think they should go, he's not wrong, and the same with everyone else. Impossible to pinpoint the best, it's all a bunch of valid opinions either way.

Unless your favorite is Valleyfair or Dorney. Then you're wrong. :D

I voted CP, I personally love the coasters (cept Mean Streak [;)]) and love the environment. Hotel Breakers is greatc, the location on the beach and the walk to the resort entrance with a sandy beach and Lake Erie on one side and some of the craziest coasters on the other, gaah. I just love it there.

I think Silver Dollar City is atleast top 5, and would give any park a run for the best park IMO.
