This was one of my first ideas for nl2. I made this coaster handbuilt first, a couple months ago, but now that I've gotten some skill in FVD I decided to recreate my first handbuilt version, in FVD. I haven't done too much about the coaster yet, and the layout is still in progress, but here are some photos of some terrain work I've done.

So I managed to get these fellas into the game with working textures and everything. However, I'm a bit confused by the nlsco editor. I don't think I quite understand how the scale randomizer works? So In the second picture you can see the base scale is set to 10 (because of how small the object is) and the variaton to 1. But they come out with the variaton way bigger than the value I put in. Can someone please explain this to me? :?

Not messed around with the scale randomizer function but could it be a percentage thing? so 1 = variation of 100%?

Could be that. I'll see if I can figure it out when I get time.

I made some glowy shrooms with the ingame light thingy, and I bumped into this problem. Why does the glow disappear at a certain distance? I mean, if it slowly dissipated as you zoomed out it wouldn't be a big problem, but the fact it instantly goes from glowy beautiful to darkness at a certain distance is quite annoying and stupid :x

It's your LOD settings being to low that is causing this.
Make them higher and it should work better.
