Not too much in the way of news, however, BPB have finally revealed that they are constructing a brand new ride for 2017 that will hopefully be 'one of the best rides in the world'. With rumours rife of a Mack installation, could we finally see something akin to Helix at BPB. I certainly hope so! 2016 will see further park infrastructure upgrades and improvements.

That would be incredible, so... no, that probably won't happen

Wasn't the last coaster an SLC after a lull of like 9 years lol.

Yep but they turned a profit last year despite adding a new flat ride - so things might be looking up again for BPB.

^there isn't actually a Mack Launch in the UK yet anyway, so it would be the UK's first!

good point, actually- they probably don't, unless they remove something (lets hope not!).

They could pull a Grona Lund but I don't think that they really could with the space they have. I just hope they remove Big One and replace it with a Mack mega lol

Big One has pretty wide supports... Maybe they could place a Mack next to the Big One track and make it racing! :p

Pepsi Max Big One should be preserved as it's obviously an iconic ride there. :)

TPW went to Pleasure Beach for the second time this year and he noticed yellow markings and even the word 'track' on the ground. Skip to 4:25 in the vlog if you want to see it.

Having no knowledge or inside info, this looks like it could be legit. However, according to the CF forum boys, this is supposed to open in 2018; prep work in 2016, construction in 17, and opening in 18.

I didn't really know they had that much space left! :o Looks like a pretty big coaster (if it will be something like this).

Yeah, it was meant for 2017 but got pushed back as far as I know. Looks like a brilliant addition - they've had to tear some stuff down to fit it in however!

If they were to build that, it would be comfortably the best steel coaster there. If the ride they build is anything like that, it would definitely give me very good reason to make my way up to Blackpool.

Hmm I wouldn't say double launch confirmed at this point. All we know is that it is Mack. Hopefully it is a multi launch like Helix though.

The initial (now removed) tweet did state double launch so its probably a fair bet.
