Fellow designers, I'm pleased and excited to present to you my newest creation and one of my personal favorite custom designs, a ride combining innovation, thrills, realism, and creativity to create an exciting, one-of-a-kind experience from beginning to end...

I give you: Breaking Point! http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/p1573

Breaking Point is an Intamin LSM launched coaster showing off some of my never-before-seen ideas in a package of intensity, speed, and ejector airtime! This is not just any Intamin ride...this is THE Intamin launched coaster to look for!

Coaster Type: Intamin AG Linear Synchronous Motor Launched
Train Type: Intamin "Storm Runner style" Multi-Looping Trains with OTSR's

Top Speed: 76 MPH
Height: 179.04 feet
Max Drop: 164.08 feet
Max Drop Steepness: 80.8 degrees
Track Length: 3057.89 feet
Number of Inversions: 2

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the first ride I will release featuring my very own 3ds, and I'm happy to say my objects will be accented by some from our very own persianlombax! After having nearly finished the station and queue, I'm now working on building one of the other objects to help establish more realism in the setting.

With this layout, my intentions were to combine new experiences and elements, while maintaining the realism that I feel many people have overlooked when trying to make an Intamin launched coaster in No Limits. I really like how the layout/trackwork turned out, and I've had very positive feedback from testers (definately appreciate all your opinions!), so I hope you all will like it too!

If all goes as planned, you can expect to be able to challenge and conquer "Breaking Point" within the next 3 weeks! For more statistics and progress pictures, please visit my nldc page. If you can't wait to ride it, remember to check out the rides I have released here! http://coastercrazy.com/track_exchange/de ... ubmit1.y=8

Any questions or comments are welcome and appreciated!

Ofcourse, it's another masterpeice Dan. It's been interesting following the progress of this coaster for like a year, lol.

It's another Dcs coaster for the Cool Designs page. I'm highly anticipating the release.

Thanks guys. Canadmos, I'm confident that this will get done in a relatively timely manner. Again, I'm not *completely* in control since Myriad is doing some of the 3ds, however I think (hope? lol) I've given myself/him ample time to get things done and polished. I kinda feel bad about all the other rides that I've advertised for forever and haven't released yet, but that's why I waited until I was done with trackwork and partially through other things before announcing this one, just to make sure I don't hit a snag like I have before and not release for a year :P

But yeah, as I've said before, I'm very excited to show everyone! It'll be a fun time for all of us :) Thanks again for the comments/compliments/encouragement everyone.

Glad to see this on the drawing board man ... looking forward to seeing it finished in the exchange. It looks like a great piece of work ... if the pictures do it justice. :-D

Thanks guys. Pictures should do the areas shown at least a little bit of justice, but remember that the pictures also don't show everything ;) There's some originality and some cool features that may just have to stay hidden until release :)

I've been working on 3ds exclusively for the last couple weeks in the free time I've had. It's been going pretty well, I'm happy with how it's working out for the most part. I'll work on El Toro sometime after I'm done with this, or maybe if I randomly get bored at some point. However, my priority for right now is completing and releasing Breaking Point.

Thanks again you two, and I'm glad to see you're also interested in my other projects Barone.

Soooo...problem. Had some pretty cool 3ds that was almost done, but I tried to open it up to work on it some more today and SketchUp gave me an error message telling me it wasn't a sketchup file...wtf. I tried the .skb file it also saves, and that had an error message having something to do with a validity check. So unless someone knows how to fix that (I looked for around 20 mins and didn't see anything on sketchup's forums) then I'll have to take an extra few days to redo that stuff... what a pain. That's definately an interest killer if I have to redo it.

Anyone had that problem and find a solution?

Google SketchUp. Very easy and relatively powerful program, considering it's free... but make sure to save your stuff in a few different names because things like what happened to me may happen to you. At this point I haven't found a solution and I'm guessing that it's not fixable, but it may be. I posted a thread on the Sketchup forums, so we'll see what those people say. Wish me luck.

Right now my plan is to wait a day for a reply to my thread, then if I get nothing I'll print the screenie I had taken before and redo.

**EDIT**- As of now, the train won't fly into the station and kill someone! http://www.nolimitsdevcenter.net/i30179

Are you using the free version of GSU or the bought version?
