I'll do a wireframe set of shots when I get home so you can see how awful the g forces on the "problem" spots of the ride were. I'm actually very pleased with how the track turned out, as it syncs very nicely with the pov video from 1992.
Actually I think this is why there's so much legend around Drachen Fire in the coaster enthusiast community. It looked fantastic! It really looked brand new when it closed, and the track
looked unlike anything Arrow ever produced. The transitions mostly looked smooth and glamorous from off the ride. Of course, in reality, it was an Arrow through and through.
Notice how the first half of this POV seems to float right along, similar to any other modern coaster. But look closely after the Batwing (most of you know it as a cobra roll) at how terribly shaped that turn is going up to the brake run! Also, notice how badly the camera shakes at the bottom of the drop off the brake run going into the first corkscrew, and how violent the exit is too. It's not every day you see a professionally mounted camera on a coaster take that much of a beating!
