Whenever I go through that I always think of how amazing that roll would make it.  The pacing would be the most insane thing ever.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

Well yes, and your neck snapping through the roll would be pretty intense as well.

Hmmm... Do it see it correctly and are the trains floorless with a lapbar?

No I still see a floor, but maybe more of a free style floor?

I love the layout, but the trains... I don't like em.

Stop being such a buch of whiny babies.

Did any of you ride a looping coaster in the '90s?

It could look like a literal pile of poo and I won't complain as long as it's just lapbars.

Seriously, it's an opinion. Not everyone's going to agree with you. There's been a few people that have been smug lately just because people are saying what they feel. This isn't TPR or CoasterBuzz so chill out.

With that being said, I'm not a fan of the trains. But the layout is pretty cool. I will say that the weird roll is definitely out of the ordinary.

While the trains aren't too aesthetically pleasing, I'm looking at lap bars on an inverting coaster and that's (almost) always a good thing.

Yea WTF with those rolls.
I second CK's prediction that it will get changed down the road.
Again, this Ride was Designed by Dal Freeman, the man who brought you Magnum XL-200 and Several other Arrows. He Designed Wicked and BomBora at Lagoon as well! ART Engineering GmbH did all the Structural and Track Engineering, so the Barrel Rolls won't be Changed. The Rails are a LARGER Diameter than B&M Uses on their Diving Coasters.

I like the rolls. Do you guys really think that Lagoon just threw together two opposite rolls without thinking about it?

It is new and has never been done before so I give the park credit for thinking outside of the box and being unique.
The Rolls look Totally Awesome to me too! :)

Paradox got it, those rolls are neat. Plus think about the massive head chopper it will produce with the rocks.

@linearinduction : What was the role of Dustin Allen in this project?
Dustin Allen is the Second in Line in Lagoon's Engineering Department and is basically the Project Manager for Cannibal/Project 2015.

Considering this is the LARGEST Turnkey Roller Coaster Project outside of Disney, it's a pretty awesome. I'm going to wait to Judge the Look of the Trains until I see them in person. I remember many people saying the same thing about Wicked's Trains as well, but the Minimalist Approach on Coasters by Intamin are Drooled Over. :P

If this is really a Floorless with a lapbar, that will be freaking awesome! 8-)

I agree with this so much. The trains are great because of their simplicity and I honestly don't want them to change.

Hmm. I've got mixed opinions about this coaster. I'm not really sure about the second half of the layout (I've no idea why they didn't have two continuous heartline rolls. This setup seems like it would break the flow) I kinda like the trains, although the euro fighter style trains never did really appeal to me. Three rows looks better than two.

I do however think that the first half looks absolutely insane! The airtime with the lapbars must be excellent, especially on that double dip after the dive loop. It will undoubtedly be an amazing coaster, even with that unusual heartline roll section.

They wanted to be different. If everyone followed the same idea without changing it, there would be no creativity and I give major props to Lagoon for going out of the box and not only making an insane ride, but also for doing this project by themselves.

I need to get out to Utah in the near future.

I don't understand the hate on the trains. I'm in the camp that I prefer to judge trains by their functionality. If the seats are comfortable and provide optimum ability to be secure while feeling every bit of positive, negative, and lateral forces without it being rough, then you'll get no complaints from me.

The trains look fine and the haters will get over it once the ride reports start dripping in.

I hope it ends up being a great ride, but there is always the possibility that it ends up like Thunderbolt at Coney Island.

Thunderbolt has some of the worst trains I've ever seen. Seriously. What were they thinking? Odd rows?

Yeah it's Zierer's attempt at a Eurofighter...have they done that before? Makes me wonder just how much lower Zierer's bid was then Gerstlauer's. It's not like Zierer is new to the game, though, I'm sure Impulse will turn out decent or better.

Really I think while the trains for Cannibal aren't the best looking that they may be among the more comfortable to invert in. Kinda cool to have a few rides this year we don't really know what to expect from.

Here's my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt. It's just my opinion. I don't like the euro fighter style trains for this ride. It makes these great huge coasters look like Knex creations.
