Yesterday i was driving with my dad in Parker (In COLORADO) and i saw a very scary car crash, it was in an intersection, which you can see on google maps, i have a link.

No More Link Sorry

Anyways, in this intersection a Red mit$ubi$hi car hit a Chevvy Impala, anyways so when the mit$ubi$hi, hit the chevy the car went on its side, and stopped, so it went up on its driver side door, and it stopped, what was scary was there was two childrren that were in the car.they were luckily not on the side the car hit them, the passenger side. no one was in the passenger seat or the back right seat. so there was a grandmother driving, a child in the left seat, and the middle seat, they were stuck in the car, me and my family ran over to the car, and found out that no one was hurt, Luckily No One Was Hurt. so the fire dept came and we thought they might push the car backover, gently, but instead they cut out the windshield with an axe. it was really sad, they then got out. so i hope you all will be careful when you are driveing, because a split second can change your life.

One of my teachers friends died in a car accident right in front of my school. AN old person killed him. He was driving safely, and this older lady fell asleep or something, and smashed him into a light post, I'm pretty sure he died instantly, that thing was sandwiched in on itself, it looked horrible. He left 2 young kids behind, and his wife. The older lady (about in her 70's) only had minor injuries like a broken noise. So the moral of that story, if your unfit to drive, wether you intoxicated, or in some other form of mental unstability, hang up the keys and let some one else drive, you aren't only endagering yourself, you could be endagering a baby, its mother, or some guy who has a whole family to care for.

I think that car accidents are the leading cause of death in this country. The people in the car were definitely lucky to have not died. The wreck seemed very serious. So, Rm, do you live in CO?

Yeah i Live in the Denver Metro Area, and i live about ten minutes away from that crash, Parker is my Second home/town, im always there LOL. and i travel down that road about twice a week. It was also really scary, because we were the first car at the stop light going north bound, and saw it in action, also the car went up on its side really weird, it was like in slow motion.

I unfortunatly had the bad luck to witness a train car collision, it was disgusting, I felt so bad for the people in the car, only the driver was drunk is what I read in the paper, but I still have nightmares about seeing the car get crushed like a paper wad, and that horrible sound >_<

Oh i know, hearing it is the worst, in the accident i saw yesterday, i heard these two kids screaming, oh i felt so bad, then i ran over to the car and calmed them down by talking to them, there windows broke out. They started to stop crying, i didnt want to see the accident, because it was so scary, but i was happy i did because i helped calm the kids down, and one of the children continued to read there book as the car was on its side.

I came up on an accident where a triple trailer FedEx truck rear-ended a full size 4-door car which appeared to be at a stand still from probably 45-55mph.

Needless to say, a fedEx truck with 3 trailers hitched up going 50mph turned the car into a compact. Emergency personal were tending to a person in the passenger seat and they didnt seem to "enthusiastic" about the person so my assumption was they were dead, or in very grim condition.

I wanted to take pictures since I am a UPS man (supervisor) but refrained because of the condition of the people in the car. Not the first time Ive seen a FedEx driver in an accident though. Especially considering the road I was on I normally drive to work and they speed on it regularly.

I would only get an SUV for the protection, but other than that I'm a low ride sport car guy which I accually feel safer in than a big car anyway

I work in a high traffic intersection and see at least one accident per day of work. I have seen from minor to really serious ones and I think I have become immune to the visual reaction of them now. I have seen semi's toss cars inches away from the gas pumps of both gas stations on each corner. I have seen cars flip and land wheels up, seen people get ranned over. I dunno, I am immune to the [:O] factor anymore.

I was in a car accident with a couple of my best friends, two to be exact, and well a drunk driver rear ended us, and we were smashed into the side of the barrier, and I was the only one wearing a seatbelt, and I was the only one survived...It seriously brings me tears just thinking about it...my two best friends were killed by a drunk driver in the same night, and in the same car....how sad is that? [:(][:(][:(]

I know all too well how distressing it can be to be invovled in a car accident ...... I myself was killed when I was hit by a lorry a few years ago, the lorry was going at 750mph and the driver was 100million times over the legal limit [V].

I have actually been involved in an accident with a car, I broke my finger when I ran into a parked car one time, I was looking completely the other way ..... that counts doesn't it?? I mean it was a big thing for me at the time, being 6 and all. I broke my leg rollerblading before, there was cars around, does that count? [lol] I've been stuck on the motorway because of an accident before, that made me sad because it made me miss the first half of a program I'd wanted to watch for at least ...... a day.

Scary is spinning out of control on the god damn freeway. (true story) i try to avoid the Freeway and Toll Roads...

But still...SUVs are for Soccer Moms[:D]. IMO, Soccer Moms are the #1 cause of death (j/k). Anyway, I've never watched an accident happen. I've driven past them and seen them on the news. But the sad thing is it's just like what Jack said in Hotel Rwanda:

"I think if people see this footage, they'll say Oh, my God, that's horrible. And then they'll go on eating their dinners."

My true opinion of the news.

[edit] Rmfrick: Manson's been gone. We've already remembered him with the CD...and DVD. And w/e you say isn't going to bring him back. No one really likes that type of music anymore, just you and me.[;)]

I never said anything about Marilyn Manson. I Just Like him alot he is my favorite singer, and his music really really rocks, but that is off topic, this is about car accidents.

I am one of the lucky ones who have never witnessed a car accident happen, or have been in one. I have seen the aftermath of a few, but have never actually saw one occur.

I actually saw a truck that was flipped over, and it had a fair ride on it. Just to post something a little more interesting and less sad then what you people have been posting. I'm pretty sure the driver wasn't injured and there were no other cars that were invovled, at least to my knowledge. That accident caused huge backups on the freeway though.
