Carowinds 2017

[Paradox]

Dammmit I liked Vortex when I went this summer. It's honestly not a bad ride if you actually stand up but since many people can't do that it becomes painful.

I imagine the Vortexes will ride like Rougarou after block brake when it plods around like a fat girl at a carnival, AKA a family ride.

A little late in posting this but they've been doing some minor retracking of Hurler's banked turns. I didn't think this ride was all that rough but still nice to see them improving it.

Well, it looks like something else Cedar fair has started to remove. If you look closely in the image provided. It looks like Whitewater falls is being disassembled.

I will disown Kings Island if they follow suit by removing their water rides.

Perhaps renovating the top few layers of wood might help prolong the lifespan of the trackwork as that part is the most impacted - spending now to save later.

Well there goes a ride from my visit in March.

Yes. Each car will have it's own theme. Park said it not me

It's really great to see photos of each "Boomerang" car without headrests!

Found these on Twitter and they where posted today.

A Construction tour was held and the photos show the progress so far!

Also, The Coaster Crew (@CoasterCrew) was able to inform us (official words from Carowinds) that White Water Falls will not be opening this season which means that Carowinds no longer has ANY water rides in the main park.

Sould look neat when it's done. I really like the new boomerang colors. The checkered supports are neat.

^Hopefully they get it all done. It looks like there are still A LOT of things to be done.

Also, CoasterCrew has just said that all they where told was that the ride would not be opening for the 2017 season, and that they where told to 'Stay Tuned"

they still have Rip Roarin??? Rapids in the main park but seems like they are getting prepared for a coaster possible 2019 I don't think all of it will go into space for a coaster but most of this area could

Maybe a small compack RMC or GCI? they could move dodgems and some of the resturants as well as get rid of sand dune lagoon.
WWF could also be removed for a future wasterpark expansion to.



I found a little thing on TPR That was interesting. While most of the rides are from Europe, the Troika was actually from Japan! Zephyr will be placed right on the state line and Electro Spin will be repainted as soon as it is completed. Construction is on schedule to!

WWF is already gone but I do home they keep the pond for a splash down for a coaster would be nice to see and maybe where thunder roads station area some flat rides I don't see the yo yo staying also

I hope for a "middle-sized" coaster that will wow families and... fanatics!
