Last week Disney's California Adventure opened Cars Land to the world. Thousands of people went to the themepark to see what the over $1billion addition was like. Everyone seems happy about the addition. Currently there are long waits in line for the rides. It is expected that the lines will shorten as the weeks go by. If you're interested in going, we suggest waiting a month after opening.

Radiator Springs Racers
Radiator Springs Racers is a unique racing experience only Disney could offer. You will be walking through a natural cold spring before you hit the station. This station, unlike others, is completely made up of empty oil bottles. The course of this ride takes you through 'Ornament Valley' and 'Radiator Springs'. The ride sends you flying through high bank turns and hills, along a beautiful red-rock formation.

Luigi's Flying Tires
Luigi's Flying Tires takes place in an 8,000-square-foot Italian garden, and tire storage yard. The 'Flying Tires' have 6,714 air vents that keep you just the right distance above the ground, that all you have to do is lean in the direction you want to move in. This coaster has a unique back story, Luigi's Uncle Topolino ordered a shipment of new tires. To their amazement however, the tires began to mysteriously float!

Radiator Springs Curios
Radiator Springs Curios is a gift shop where you can go to buy souvenirs to remember the trip.

Flo's V8 Cafe
Stop here if you are wanting to a break from intense big kid thrills, and settle down for a classic American cuisine. The menu serves a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is not only good, but the atmosphere is very open. Set down on a patio and watch cars speed pass from Radiator Springs Racers.

Coze Cone Motel
If you are looking for a place to stay then look no further. This roadside motel is actually inspired by Wigwam Motel. This set the standard for Coze Cone Motel to be 'retro'.

Sarges Surplus Hut
If Radiator Springs Curios wasn't your thing, you can head over to Sarges Surplus Hut. This is a 'hut' to buy Radiator Springs gear, as in casual t-shirts and other accessories.

Mater's Junkyard Jamboree
Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is hosted by Mater. You can ride on a trailer pulled by an adorable baby tractor. Tucked away in his shed, Mater uses his impressive singing skills and jukebox - made out of discarded oil drums, hubcaps, hoods, horns, and mufflers to give the guests 7 original songs.

Fillmore's Taste In
If it's a hot day at the park, and you are looking for a place to stop in and get a drink, you've found the right place. This Taste In gives a "hippie" atmosphere to the guests. The drinks are described as, "refreshing fuel". There are a variety of all natural, fruity flavors.

There is a lot to see in Cars Land and families will have a wonderful time when visiting Disney's California Adventure. If you plan to pay a visit, we highly recommend you purchase your tickets online at: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/tickets/
