cjd, did you intentionally pick the best parts of your other designs to put into this contest track, or was it luck?

Hell yeah, only this one is even better! It has a wild mouse turn pulling 1.4 lateral g's! nobody's ever done that before! And it has airtime! Nobody's ever thought of putting airtime on a spinner before. And it has an inversion! I am so smart... nobody ever thought of going upside-down either! Plus, I have an airtime hill that is too good to actually have airtime going over it. And I was the first one who thought of doing a 90 degree banked turn that simulates the experience of actually launching off of a skateboard ramp... oh, wait, it was done before me? Well, I don't care. I did it better and more originally. And that makes this the most original spinning coaster ever! ;p

Seriously, though, it's not all crap. The drop is good. Who doesn't love a nice 85-degree drop? The rest of the coaster blows, though. I just kind of stopped caring once two people got disqualified. I'll try for real in the next round, though.

EDIT: Uploading tomorrow. I Decided to do more support work on it.

^Erm, I have airtime on Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows.
And there is a loop in my round 1 ride.
And Dirk had a roll in a spinner he did.

hmmm

If he picks the best parts his ride must be pretty below average then

Anyone that has seen some of my older advertising threads can probably see the irony in what I just posted... I like laughing at myself now and then...

Side note: has anyone else noticed that almost whenever someone makes sarcastic posts anywhere on the internet, there is always someone that doesn't get it, and flames the OP for making a 'stupid post', pointing out everything that the OP is wrong about? That amuses me to no end whenever I see it on IMDB, yet also makes me weep for humanity.

You should start using "/sarcasm" at the end of the statement so people get it.

This is stupid, but, is it OK if I accidently removed the catwalk portions of the skate-park?

with NL 1.7 not workin so well w/ vista, it was very easy for me to highlite objects and accidentally delete em.

i just continued to build, saved the track and just reloaded the template and put the track back in

^yeah, but then the supports would be deleted because there is no copy/paste for them. It's better than getting DQ'ed, though.

EDIT: My track is posted. http://www.coastercrazy.com/track_excha ... ?tid=13538
