Man, what the hell is up with the "TTD sucks" thing? It's just such a sick ride, I don't care if it's ridiculously short. It's a pretty amazing experience...
Maverick looks much better than EGF. And I'd have to say I'd rather ride TTD as well. It's not just about CP Fanboys over-endorsing the rides, Austin. In general I'm sure most would agree that those two CPs would be better than Piraten and EGF.
Maverick and EGF is a toss up for me - Having ridden Maverick, I know I like it a lot and it is a really good ride. I haven't ridden EGF, but it looks to be an amazing ride as well. If I had a choice between riding the two, I'd probably go to EGF just because I already know what Maverick is like, and I think having multiple good rides under your belt is better than just having one good ride with multiple laps on it. But judging quality of the rides, they seem about equal to me.
TTD on the other hand is a no brainer. Again, having ridden it, I know I don't like it (despite how "awesome" others proclaim it to be), because in my opinion it's nothing but a one trick pony that doesn't even do it's trick well. Piraten on the other hand looks like a very complete and airtime filled ride, so I'd much rather go ride that then wait in line again for another ride on TTD which I already know is a disappointment to me.
^It may be a height bias, because MF is beating Behemoth as well. Granted, I haven't been on Behemoth, but surely it's better than MF. It also may be related to the location/age of the rides. TTD and MF have been around for a while and are well-known, whereas Piraten and Behemoth are newer.
Behemoth is easily way, way better than MF. I understand that some people may not like Dragster because it's one element, but really, how come everybody is so confused that it's losing? It's 120 mph and 420 feet tall...That alone makes it quite, plus the vertical drops n stuff.
I know both Behemoth and Piraten are excellent rides, and I can see them being about equal...but Behemoth beating Piraten by that much already? That kinda surprises me, just as Black Mamba owning Katun did. Some of the voting seems to contradict what it seems to me are the features of a ride that people like most. Black Mamba seems about as intense as Silver Bullet, a ride that people complain about all the time, whereas I've pretty much never heard a bad thing about Katun, and it's clearly of the quality of Raptor and other designs of that age. I'm sure the theming on Black Mamba helps a lot, but I'd expect GP might prefer Black Mamba and most of us would prefer Katun. Interesting.
^IDK, to me it seems like Black Mamba is more around (not at, but close to) the status of Nemesis. That's the impression I've always had, it just seems like one of those lower grounded coasters that takes all of its elements on with great speed and intensity.
I know Dirk has been on it, where the hell is he!?
Definitely rooting for Phantom's Revenge......If it were longer it'd be the best steel I've been on. Nothing else that's steel comes anywhere near Phantom in terms of aggressiveness, at least that I've been on.

I hate how most people think the tallest and fastest ride is the best, but don't even consider the design of the coaster.
