Thanks for the pics and the update. I'm really starting to get curious about what the final height will actually end up being, and if it'll end up having what I call the "stability pipes" that Goliath at SFGAM has on parts of the ride to presumably limit the amount of extra wood they need to construct. These are most easily visible on the overbank after the first drop and I believe on the dive loop. I don't have an engineering background but I don't think you can just randomly tack 50ft of wood on top of a structure that wasn't designed for that in an area that has such brutal summer (and more importantly winter) storms.
I'm predicting the "they're coming" etc that keeps being teased will refer to some theming and not an actual racing aspect. Think of it as Lola and Stella from twisted twins but without two rides I guess? I really have no idea how to describe it. I doubt it'll interact with itself beyond seeing the other train after it has passed the block brake.
Thanks for that picture of the next ledger. I saw one of those alleged "in the know" posts elsewhere about a week ago. It was someone claiming to have talked to a worker. Completely unverified of course. He predicted 88 degrees and 218 feet tall. From that picture 88 degrees looks about right.
^ Or we could imagine the value "88.5" because 4th dimension coasters designed by Alan Schilke who has been part of RMC for a long time, also have the near-vertical drop.
So through the grapevine sI've heard some interesting rumored stats about Mean Streak.. From what i could hear, the name will be STAMPEDE (I can just imagine Dixie Stampede), 217' Lift hill, non launched with an 88 degree first drop. 6 inversions and speeds from 70-80 mph. If these are true I'm in love with the ride already!

Wow I had never thought like Mean Streak would have got as many as 6 inversions! Comparable with two Cedar Point's intense loopers: GateKeeper and... Raptor! On a RMC track, will we see 6 inversions in total?!
I find it quite odd that the track doesn't seem to drop immediately after the MCBR and stays relatively flat for some amount of time. That seems to be the only part of the ride built so far that seems a little iffy to me.

This ride has a possibly 89.9 degree first drop, little bitty airtime right afterward, and headchopping inversions, and that's what sticks out as iffy? That's how you know you're an enthusiast.
