Hey, I'm going to Cedar Point the day AFTER opening day, Sunday May 17th. I was wondering if anyone has an idea on how crowded it will be because it would help a lot.

Well, if it is anything like last year's opening weekend, you should expect it to be pretty busy.

If you go the 18th-21st, you will OWN the park. If you go last week in May, and first week in June, you will also have it more or less to yourself. After mid-May until Labor Day, you will be waiting an hour all the time.

Yes. It will be dead compared to other parts of the year. The only people that are there are a few college students, some HSers on a senior trip, and than smart enthusiasts. But you will not find the typical summer crowd with families and stuff. Your wait in lines will be cut to half than what it would be in early June, and cut in a 2/3rd than it would be July-August. MF will probably be 20 minutes, if that. You'll be happy going that week.

No. He is saying it will be busy on the weekend.
However, it will NOT be busy on the week from the 18th to the 21st.

Hmmmmm.... I was also thinking that its hard to predict things like this because every year when I try to plan things out, it never works. Like people start to think "well its going to be crowded on weekends" so they go during the week, yet everyone else thinks the same way, and everyone loses out.

Trust me, being someone who worked at the park last season, opening weekend WILL be busy.
