I used to know a guy who worked there like 2 or 3 summers in a row. Him and his girlfriend would go out there from Illinois to work and then come back in the fall. I don't remember him saying how the housing was, but he certainly enjoyed his experience there (must have, if he did it more than one year). That was around 1992 or 1993.

I live in Florida and I would give anything just to GO there, to work AND live there must be a great feeling because they'll most likely give you free admission for your day off. I'd take the job if I were you [approve].

CP's housing is basic the same as a collage dorm. You get assinged to a room and you share it with one other person(maybe more, depending on room size). My brother worked there a few years ago, and the building he was living in wasn't the best, but it wasn't the worst. They also have limits on what you can do or put into your room(if I remember right). You do have to pay a weekly fee to rent your part of the room too, but it's cheap. They do have some nice benefits as well, like a free shuttle to the local stores/mall and such.

Working at CP by itself is an aright job,and can be fun, depending on which department you're working in. The down side is that seasonal employees don't get paid any overtime, and expect to work long days(10-12hrs+ days). You do get free admission to the CP and Soak City(I think) on the weekdays, not sure about the weekends, during you employment term.

I do suggest you call them and set up a phone interview and ask questions about the work and the houseing. They do hire people over the phone, so be ready to set up your starting date and houseing when you call, or when they call you. Apply early in the year(like Jan.) if you want a job in ride ops.
