This is my Trip Report of me going to Cedar Point with my Dad, Me, And my best Bud.

So my Dad went strait to bed the night before we left, but me and my friend decided to stay up and do nothing.....we ended up not
even sleeping. We woke my Dad up and started going at about 7:30am, we drove from Toronto to Windsor in just over 3 hours and
we made only one stop!

We crossed the border(which didn't take that long). We got asked some weird questions like " Do you have anything explosive
in your car." We just said "no." After that we made our way to Toledo, Which was a nightmare. Driving in the U.S.A. sucks!
They closed the highway which made us wait 2 hours to find a detour, then when we actually got to toledo we spend 30 minutes
trying to find a detour across the river because I280 was closed. Good thing I planned ahead. We found the Turnpike and took
that all the way to Highway 6, from 6 we went to Cedar Point.

We came to Cedar Point and WOW, Those Roller Coasters are TALL! We were looking up and we were still a few Kilometers away.
TTD looks like heaven, Millennium Force Looked better then I had even imagined. We Drove around the whole point a little slow
So I could capture some stuff with my camara, I got Milly the Forces turnaround and drop, the train, and meanstreak.
Meanstreak looked very cool driving up to it, but the wheels made a horrible screach sound.

So anyway, we cheacked in and brought our stuff up, we then headed to the park, we waited till 5 for starlight, and glad we
did, the second we stepped into the park, it rained....for an hour. First it was light, then a downpour, then light again.
my dad said that planes got blown off the runway at cleavland from downburts. (P.s. american weather news sucks.)

Well after the rain we headed to Milly, it had a little line, we waited about 15 minutes and got the back seat. Wow, that
first drop from the back is awsome, I had my hands up the Whole time. It was funny seeing everyone put there hands down in the
tunnel. I think we headed to meanstreak after that, all I know is that it was a walk-on, we rode the front, scents the back
gives you back pain. It was cool, Sorta wierd but it was fun, we did a funny pose for the camara scents we knew where it was.
I'm pretty sure we rode mine ride after that, It was a walk-on, I mean no-one was in the station untill we got back.
Then I think we rode Gemini, It had some wierd bumps, and the airtime was good, it felt funny though. I still liked it.
We wacthed dragster for a bit scents they were testing it, it rolled back. The second one made it over. We skipped TTD and went to the front of the park. We got on corkscrew, we also wrode the back, it was painfullish, not to painfull though.
Then we went on raptor, at night, second car, both of us on the outside. Two wierdos sat between us so it was a O.k. ride
They had no lights on so the track was invisble. It has some bumps, but it was awsome. Next we went On Bluestreak, it was fun
and it had lots of airtime, it's better then meanstreak(it had no airtime). Then I belive we got pop and Icees, Icees suck..bigtime, there just surger and air, it was gross. We then hopped on Disaster transport, It was REALLY wierd, and the props were really cheesy. But it was still fun, my friend hated it though, he also asked what the 12 E is, and I told him I don't know, I do now though.

Then we walked all the way back to the hotel having ridden all the coasters except a few. I slept real good that night.
The next day we looked out the window and saw that it was raining, It was thunderstorming the night before, but we still
went into the park early and headed to Milennium Force, we waited about 2 minutes, plus an extra 4 or 5 because we wanted
the front. It was worth the wait, except for the rain hitting you all the time, in the tunnel we posed for the camara
the pictures were crappy so we passed a onride Foto. We were going to ride again, but the line was already a half-hour,
So we went on mantis instead, What an awsome ride. The rain still hurt but it was great, so great we rode it twice.
The rain made it go faster and the trim wasn't working, so it was even better. After that rain decided to stop and I think
we headed to Wicked twister, but it was down. So I'm pretty sure we went to the beach, And what do you know, by the time
we went as close to wicked twister as we could, it was working again. But that didn't matter, we had a great time at the
beach and dug a really big hole, but it caved in. I belive that after that we went up to dragster for a freeway. we got 4-5
I think it was then that we went on Wicked Twister, I remember we went on the back and it was cool, the launch was awsome.
Then we walked around, got a pop(no Icee) and waited for our freeway. It was 4:15 when we used our freeway, the dude marked
it with a pencil coverd in black glue. We wanted the back so we only waited 25 minutes or so to get on. The whole thing was
just so fast, We knew when were going to launch, but it still suprised us. My Dad was really impreased with dragster, he
got lots of video it, and every other ride. So after that we went to the water park, it's actually smaller then I had expected.
It was great fun, mainly, because it was empty. Not a soul was there except ours, a few girls and the lifegurds.
We spent an hour alone just floating in the lazy river. It was fun.

Then we got back to the hotel, but I forgot the keycard So we just stood there for an hour or two drying off. We wore shorts
in the water park, so we put on our shirts and shoes and went back into the park. It was late, So we went on gemini three times
Red train and Blue train, for some reason the blue train was bumpier. I heard that Magnum was good at night. So we went on
that. It was alright, it was a walk-on. we waited about 2 trains. I agree that the V areas for the Op's are gay, they can't
see each-other very good. Anyway, Magnum was fun, but it was a really wierd ride, it is as old as me so, it was a little
wierd and bumpy. The airtime was great though, We went on the good seat that gets a lot of airtime. First car, third row.

That was a wrap for the day. We went to the hotel and had a good night sleep.
The next morning we got up, and guess what, it wasn't raining! We Got in early and there was already a big line up to get in.
We headed to TTD the second we got in, but it was broken down, so we got a early freeway for 2-3 instead. After that we just
moaped around and decided to go to the back to wait for Mean Streak. I think we rode the train back back there, but my
memory is a blank. I think we rode sky-ride on the second day too. Whatever. So anyway, we were in the back and waited about
15 minutes for MS to open. We were ready to waist time anyway. So it opened, we got on twice, we both rode front the first
time, then I rode the back and my buddy rode the front the second time. OUCH, the back is just to painfull for words.
Did I mention how bad the back is? BTW, the station was empty, actually, the entire back of the park was empty for a few hours.
We then got on White Water Landing. It's a really great ride, and It was really great fun, we actually waited because they
were only running a coulple of the boats. Did I mention we also went to the museum some time during our trip? My Dad wanted
to hang out with us so we went to the hotel and we started walking around, my dad has a 'condition' that makes him not able
to ride rides....no he's not fat but he has wierd legs. BTW, I saw two fat people get of millennium force during the trip.
Yeah, So were walking in the park by Milly, and I Took some Video of Milly going through the turnaround from the petting zoo.
We also got a picture of a Turky the size of a mini-van. We then went alllllllll the way around the park, and didn't go on
one ride. Untill 2:20 when we used our freeway For TTD, we waited an hour for the front and it was totally worth it, but we
overshot the top hot, so we only got a glimps of millennium force being small. It was a fun ride in all. And worth the wait.

After that we went to the hotel for a long rest. We ended up going back into the park only to do something I forget, I think
we rode Iron Dragon Or something like that, I know Iron Dragon Was an O.k. ride, it sounded funnny though. Then all I
remember is my dad wanting to go to jonney rockets, and we never did, And then we went to beach again, and My friend was really tired,
So tired he didn't want a night ride on Millennium force! Crazy guy. I went on though, I also waited An hour and 45 minutes
because I wanted the front. It was worth the wait, except for the bugs. They felt like pebbles hitting you at 140 Km/h

I had a really great ride on that, I didn't buy an onride photo because I covering my face from the bugs. I then Got a burger
and got back to the hotel at 11:30. My dad was looking forward to eating at jonney rockets and riding the bumper cars, but wenever did. there is a Jonney rockets a mall near us, so no worries.
All in all, it was an amazing trip. PCW is kiddyland compared to Cedar Points great rides. I also bought a millennium force shirt and a key chain thingy.

I live in Toledo, you should have asked for directions!

Where was that 2 hour lane closure?

I-280 has been this way for a couple years. We are building a new Cable-Stay bridge over the Maumee River and yes, its been a fiasco.
http://www.lookuptoledo.org/servlet/com ... t?option=3

So much so we had one of our cranes collapse (no, intamin didnt build it) due to the manufacturer not telling the guys how to properly use it in order to save time. So that was another issue all together. You can still use I-280, you just have to be sneaky.

Raptor - the track is fine, theres a few spots where all trains vibrate and shake. Otherwise, for its age its super smooth.

Magnum - do you remember where you sat in the blue and red trains? If you sit in the first or third row in each car (remember, each car has 3 rows) you WILL feel a TON more vibration. Those seats are right over the axels and wheels and it hurts. If you ride in the middle row, its like a completely different ride. Its actually smooth.

Glad to see someone had a great trip at CP. You Canadians seem to love it most :)

Excellent report - thanks for recapturing it all! As far as the sentences, it looks like you wrote it in like Word or something with manual carriage returns inserted and when you cut and pasted it, the result is what you see above.

Yeah I wrote in notepad, I didn't want to risk the internet getting messed up again.

BTW, I think on Gemini we rode either in the middle or the very back, I can't remember. All I know is that at the bottom of each hill, it went 'bump, bump, bump, bump' and really hurt. It was still fun though.

I read on PointBuzz that I280 was closed, so I knew we had to take the turnpike. The backup was on I70 or something between monroe and detroit.
We got off on an exit near monroe at a service centre. From there we followed the trucks. One things for sure, driving in the U.S. was horrible.
There we exits and onramps to the highway all over the place. We took a wrong turn somewhere and took 10 minutes just to find another onramp. My dad was pissed. But it was worth the 8 hour drive. I hope they get a new coaster next year.

On a side note. I forgot to mention we also went to the big arcade, the pinball machines are realy cool. My friend got a whole bunch of extra games from one of them, I guess it's too old.

P.s. Where is TTD from the turnpike? we tried looking for it, but it wasn't visible, damn smog. Oh and my ears popped on TTD. See, I did so much I can't tell you aboot it. I could go on about the drive for a while.
But my arm is allready falling asleep. I'm definitly going back next year.

I'm going on the 20th but it's always only one day so I never get any night rides nor laser shows. :(

Anyways, how was maxair?

Oh yeah, I wanted to make a vid for our group going there, but I think I'd better obtain permission from those who created the vids with the clips I need. (as you've probably guessed, I can't get a video myself, don't have a video cam, nor will parents let me use the digital cam, which doesn't have enough memory nor battery power anyways)

Heh, if wws had any vids of CP rides, I could just ask you guys... Or maybe I should go on RCT3 and make a CP rec, then use the vid taker and the flying cam route editor to make one? [lol]

maXair was okay, it was to spinny for me, it confused me a little. It swung super high though. One more thing, I spotted the webcams in the park. Ones on top of jonney Rockets, The other one is by the exit of TTD, and a new inside TTD's station. It might be a security camara though.

EDIT: I forgot mention, we saw 4 TTD Rollbacks, And we saw wildcat get stuck on the blocks twice. and we saw Iron Dragon get stuck on the lifts.
