What kind of lines should I expect this Thursday and Friday when I go to Cedar Point? I'm taking my girlfriend with and she wants to hit TTD, Millennium, Magnum, Maverick, Wicked Twister, Mantis, Gatekeeper, and Raptor all within 1 and 3/4 days.

I'm assuming you're not doing any early entry stuff. If you're doing early entry and it's starting to cloud up get Dragster out of the way ASAP because it shuts down if an animal pisses within 100ft of it, someone throws a cup of water on it, or the wind from a fart hits its tower.

Ride Advice:
*Millennium, Maverick, and TTD will have a 45+min line (probably around an hour or more, especially if it's busy). Hit one of those first immediately when the park opens.
*Cedar Creek Mine Ride and Mean Streak open at 11. If you're doing some kind of a loop (like starting with Maverick or TTD you can usually walk right on around 11 if you had to wait an hour for one of the Intamins). Mean Streak has laterals in the front row and really isn't that rough. It's kind of like Courtney Love, everyone viciously hates it just because they were told to. Give it a chance and wait the 20 minutes for the front row. I'm not saying it's a stellar experience, but it's not that awful a ride. I keep seeing pictures of an obvious section of track they retracked with captions that read "this didn't help" when that section of track rides like goddamned glass and certainly did help. The hatred is stupid.
*Raptor and Gatekeeper can be ridden later in the day after 4 or 5PM (sometimes even 3 or 2PM if luck is on your side). They always have a line in the morning (1hr+) and then it drains to around 15-30min later in the day.
*Mantis will be walk on after 5PM. Do not try to ride it around 11:30-3PM because we will have a line (maybe). I am in its ride crew and can almost guarantee this. Ride standing straight up and it won't be a problem unless you're a pussy. If you're bad at bracing yourself during rides (or your GF has decided she has a headache) go for the front. If you want G's ride in the back. The trim brake won't activate when I'm test riding in the morning sometimes and I definitely grey out on it more in the back and it's definitely an intense ride.
*Wicked Twister and Magnum are kind of a crapshoot. I have no useful advice for them.
*Don't forget Gemini, SkyHawk and MaxAir exist. They're fun rides. Iron Dragon also exists.
*The drop side of Power Tower is far better than the shot side.
*Pipe Scream is a bad excuse for a family ride and Corkscrew is poop.

Other:
*I strongly recommend if you must ride something in the front that you do not do it after around 6ish. Bugs start to come out, you will hit them and so will your teeth. Seriously consider the bugs.
*Windseeker may be lame, but it's a damn fine source of "natural air conditioning". The ferris wheel is also great for air conditioning.
*If you must go on water rides make sure it's not wretchedly humid so that the water actually evaporates. Also take your shoes and socks off.
*If you ride Shoot the Rapids and you're in the back row a giant wave comes over the back of the car on the last drop right when you go "Hey that didn't drench me too badly!". It's a real psychological FU lol.
*Don't stand under the edge of awnings or lights that have seagulls on them. The "splats" will get you.
"Careful man, there's a beverage here!"

I've been to Cedar point before just not this time of the year which is why I wonder about the wait times. I only have 2 days to hit everything and I need to make that happen.

It really should be possible to get everything in one day.

Get the Fastlane Plus. Hit 80 rides in one day with the pass.
A big drop is a good drop.

This, couldn't explain it better myself.

The issue is that not everyone has the money to spend $200 for FastLane Plus. :/
Otherwise I would have said it.

Why don't people like Windseeker? I liked it, had high ride capacity, so a long line goes fast, little wait. But yeah great air conditioning lol. Ride it without shoes! I always ride coasters with shoes but Windseeker I ride without.
When I went to Cedar Point coasters broke down left and right. I don't want to make assumptions about the park from one visit but it was always happening! SFMM, whenever I visited it, never had that problom! Idk maybe it was just that day. Knotts Berry farm has that problom too, and they are owned by Cedar Fair too, so it could also be the companies fault. I NEED A SECOND OPINION ON THIS!
TTD does break down a lot, and has 1+ hour wait time, ALMOST any time you go, maybe more maybe less, but that's the average.
MF, when I went, had no down time, very reliable 45 wait time. Maybe less.
Mavrick, when I went, broke down all the TIME! But was up and running in less than half an hour. If you pick any coaster to do first, I'd pick this one. Great coaster with long lines, big down time. DO THIS FIRST!
Wouldn't worry about it to much! It's always less wait times then think.
You could easily ride everything in one day! But you will be worried that you can't! So ride the important coasters first and then relax and enjoy your visit to a great park.

It was just the day, TTD breaking down a lot is normal, but everything else doesn't usually break down so often. Would assume that means you were there on just an off day.
When I went to Knotts, the only ride that was down was Montezooma's, and that was only for an hour, so I didn't think anything of it.

I am sure there are a lot of people in Metro Detroit who plan on going to Cedar Point for special day but i think cedar point is one of the best point in Disney for the attraction of the eyes...

This was my first time here. Lots of great rides. My favorite was the high speed carousel. It didn't look fast, but once you're on it, you're holding on for your life. If you fall off, you will be seriously hurt. There are no seat belts and the horses move up, down, forward and back.

Ah Cedar Downs. Yeah there are only like two of those I think. Love that ride, people always sell it short.

^ I've just watched that ride on YouTube. I felt like watching a group of racing bicycles passing by! Maybe around 20mph when rotating? Wow horses do gallop! I love them, love them! xD

I know this thread is a bit old but I've been working on a website that aims to answer the very question that was asked. Its a bit rudimentary at the moment but I have plans to add more detailed information. I'm also open to suggestions.

Here is a link to the details for Maverick. It shows the historical wait time averages on a day-of-the-week basis. You could use this information to help plan a day at the park.
