Checking in...

Hello all. Some you may have been wondering about my absence (or not...), so I thought I would briefly fill you in as to where I have been.

I have been coastering! Whee!
I have visited:
- Cedar Point (CP)
- Waldameer (W)
- Canada's Wonderland (CW)

New Coasters of interest, along with comments:
Maverick: CP - AMAZING: utterly incredible. I admit, I did not think that it was going to live up to all the hype, but, my god, it did.
Wicked Twister: CP - I finally got to add this one to my list (after 2 failed attempts), and I am happy that I got the chance to. It is a nice fun ride, and it hardly ever had a long line. Very fun.
Ravine Flyer II: W - Excellent. A bit out of the way, but well worth it. Fast, smooth, and intense. Plus, it NEVER had a line. A five-star ride for sure.
Behemoth: CW - Unfortunatly, this was the first dissapointment of the trip. I came into it expecting a fast, Nitro-esque ride with tons of airtime and speed. What we got was a buttery smooth out and back with nothing special about it. Don't get me wrong, it is a fun ride, but I was expecting a bit more action than I got: it simply wasn't fast enough. I am never going to complain about a B&M hyper, but I hope the next one ratchets up the intensity a few notches.
