boooo! I wanted L.A. to win it. Now you guys have to build stadiums and what not while we already have them built! The Government sure is whacky, though that means new jobs for some people to come in construction etc, but after they're done, well they're done! Just an unnecessary thing to spend money on when we have them already built [:)]

You think that's bad. We are the host for the 2010 soccer thingy. And every single thing that costs money price has gone up tremendously. I don't even think it's going to work out as it should, Fifa will cancel the contract due to our crime rate and our shizty team. How can a country host a world cup if there players never even made it to the finals, ever? They should have taken the rugby in 2011.

Chicago?? I don't even know why Salt Lake City had em... neither of em seem like cities that everyone knows around the world.

I totally forgot about the 2006 games too. I mean I knew they were there, I just didn't think about em. Besides, I really only care about the winter games.
